Halliday Bay Resort and Golf Course and RV Park

I have lived here since May 2022. Garth and Tina Sandilands do an amazing job and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The Resort goes from periods of high activities to absolute quiet and the team here is always on the go fixing, maintaining, preparing - basically making the resort an ideal holiday destination. It's always easy to criticize and find fault, but Haliday Bay Resort is a beautiful place, well maintained and definitely worth a visit.

Stayed 6 nights at this park and we loved it. Right on the ocean and so peaceful and quiet. Golf course is so picturesque and you get one free game per day so it makes the site great value. Course is very challenging! Tina and Garth are very friendly and helpful and all the other guests are also very friendly and welcoming. We hope to come back next year for longer as it is quite central to lots of great places to do a day trip. Thanks for fitting us in as we only booked 4 nights and extended to 6.

Great Value for Money
Resort has a scenic golf course with a view of the beach and palm trees make you feel like you're on Hamilton Island.
Restraunt food was well made with a home cooked vibe, everything was really fresh.
Didn't plan to come here just stopped over for a night but will extend our stay another night to enjoy it all again tomorrow.

Great spot. A bit outdated but the service was excellent for the room and at the restaurant. Beach was lovely. We ad it to ourselves.

Awesome staff, great location with cabins and caravan sites with 18 hole golf course, tennis court and beach volley ball court. Drinks and food reasonable priced. Can't get staff due to double Vax requirements. Stinger-proof swimming enclosure close by.

Lovely spot by the beach, with very friendly staff. Dinner at The Captain was delicious. We stayed at a cabin, simple but enough and clean. You can see the roos all night long around the camp side and heaps of typical birds. We loved our stay!

A big thank you to Tina for the advice and help while we camped there. The site is well maintained and close to the beach which has a netted swimming area. There’s also a view point at the south end of the beach.The meals on Friday night were delicious.

This Oasis was everything I expected and more.
Yes you need to be self contained. Yes it’s very quiet. Yes it’s full of old world charm and doesn’t pretend to be anything else.
Even with the Covid restrictions Tina and Garth go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one.
The free golf and amazing meals are just another huge bonus.
I’ll be back.

Amazing service by the staff, there is so many cool features to the sites. A water park and pool with floating obstacles for kids to play through. Food in the dinner was amazing! Camping sites are good and cabins are super sweet

Most adventurous group event yet. With a variety of activities to choose from especially sports. Many great memories were made. And recommend for families with children. Beautiful beach and wildlife to match. And the volleyball sand was luxurious! The bed's made for a great night sleep! However bring your own bedding :)

Halliday Bay Resort is a very special place with accommodation in cabins but also room for caravans and campervans overlooking the very well maintained Golf course and the beach. It has a friendly atmosphere and the managers are very welcoming.

Garth and Tina and can't forget Clay . Took us in when Covid 19 2020 hit, such a beautiful place to be in lock down. Nothing was to much trouble they made our stay most enjoyable. Will definitely be back great host beautiful place. Thanks KEV Anita Esk qld

What a great stay here. Self contained only but beachfront and a wonderful 9 hole golf course. Don't miss this place it is a cracker.

Absolutely loved it. Tina & Garth just wonderful hosts. Wish there were more people in hospitality with their attitude.

This is a hidden gem. But don’t tell anyone about it. Location location location. Nice beach even in low tide, palm trees and good walks.

Every golfers dream beach front golf course and caravan park swimming encloser this place has it all in one package fishing swimming golf camping and great bar and restruant and all toped of with great staff to help you enjoy your stay
