PUBLIC Silo Trail: Ravensthorpe Silo Art

Easy to find and access. Beautiful artwork on the silo.

I love the artwork on the silos. Here at Ravensthorpe the theme is of thistles with leaves in a lovely sage colour. I don't know if thistles grow here or if there's another connection. They look great though and you can can get really close up to view them.

These beautifully painted silos have artwork on both sides, showcasing the entire life cycle of the local banksia plant. Also featuring is local fauna. Artist - Amok Island

As a photographer of now 58 Silo art sites this was a good & easy one to photograph, save the distance of a return trip from Qld. Good that it has Art on both sides & a story to the art.

Loved seeing these from a distance going past Ravensthorpe on the way to Esperance. Then stopped on the way back. Not much else there. Great beautifying this part of the world with art.

My personal favourite of the silo art trails in Victoria, SA and WA. A delightful depiction of the lifecycle of a banksia.

It is possible to walk all the way around these silos and every solo is painted! A truly magnificent work of art!
