I think we have a new favourite winery in Margaret River!

We used to drink Edwards Wines some years ago, so we're excited to see a reopening of the cellar door. Wow!

As an aviation buff, I loved the concept and the history - it shows the passion this family have for all that they do.

Wines are spectacular - we didn't book, however, the staff were terrific (and happy birthday to the lady who served us). We learnt a lot about the wines we were tasting.

We will most certainly return - both for the experience and the wines.

Such a great place to sample excellent wines. Recently opened, I suspect Edwards is going to become the next big thing in Margaret River.

An amazing cellar door, through which you are immediately confronted by a bright yellow airplane. The very same one Brian Edwards flew from Australia to England. Strewth.

The wine we tasted was excellent. Guided, superbly by a lovely Scottish woman. She is an asset to Edwards.

Highly recommend that you visit here when you are next in Margaret River.

Wow exceptional new cellar door, only opened 2 months ago. Amazing story, very friendly owners and quality well-priced wines. Sure to become the next big thing in the Margaret River once the secret gets out!

Visited this beautiful winery on our recent trip down south! Edwards Wines It’s def one of our favorites! We stopped in at the end of the day with our kids and Fiona was so friendly and lovely! I sometimes cringe when taking my 3 year old to nice places! She even let both kids sit in the beautiful plane ‘Matilda’ 💛 and also helped carry our purchases to the car! Wines were amazing and will def be back 🙌🏻💛

turned out to be. Wines are terrific, wine tasting area stunning which also includes the historic Tiger Moth. ……. You’ve got to go and find out yourselves why it’s there. 😊

Thanks also to Christo and Fiona for a great tasting experience. Christo achieved an 11/10 in our view for his knowledge, enthusiasm for their wines and his relaxed and warm manner in educating us about their wines. Must be the swimming, sun and surf creating the extra magic.

Highly recommend making the stop here. Staff are very friendly, wines are excellent and the grounds are beautiful and quiet. Really loved the story behind the owner and the flight from UK with the bright yellow Matilda plane now featured immediately upon entering. Also nice to see art next door.

Such warm hospitality the moment you enter this winery. Beautiful wines with spacious setting. Their website is not ready yet but I’ve attached their list of wines that you can get from their cellar.

Highly recommend including this in your list of wineries to visit next trip. The staff are welcoming and the owners are lovely. The cellar door is spectacular, showcasing the history rich “Tiger Moth” plane. The whole selection of wines are beautiful. 🍷🍾 They have some wines that are cellared on the ocean floor, so incredible. 🌊 If you own a plane or helicopter you can land there by for convenience. 🚁🛩 Very impressive gallery is next door with Miss Chows to come in a year. Amazing 🤩

Very knowledgeable and lovely wines. Kind to our young kids who were with us and enjoyed hearing the family story about Matilda the plane.

Wow! Meet Matilda, located at Edwards Wines Cellar Door, a short 7 minute drive from Margaret River.

This stunning 1943 yellow Tiger Moth celebrates the vineyard's founder, Brian Edward's, epic solo journey from England to Perth WA. The departing location being the last post his Father was prior to being declared MIA in WWII.

Set in this stunning location off Caves Road, the friendly, knowledgeable staff serve tastings of quality hand crafted, well priced wines, along with Matilda's aviation history.

Edwards spirit of adventure shows no boundaries with their newest wine series, Ocean, currently maturing at a depth of 18m underwater off the south west coast! Edward's believe this will create an exceptional ageing environment capable of enhancing the flavour and aroma of the wine.

So much to see here - follow the path to the new art gallery next door led by local photographer Russell Ord.

We are excited to return in 2025 when Miss Chow's opens adjacent with dumplings and wine!

My favourite winery of this visit to the region.
Delicious wines at very reasonable prices with friendly service and a beautiful view.
We also enjoyed the duck and orange pate snack plate on our visit, so tasty!

An absolute treat for your senses. A total surprise, from the large automatic doors that reveal an astounding and brilliantly built structure, which uses the most amazing, recycled materials.... and a Tiger Moth Plane !!! Friendly and genuine service from a team that wants you to enjoy the experience, view and history. The Wines are PRETTY GOOD too !!

We visited Edwards winery for a wine tasting. As soon as the automatic doors opened, we were greeted by a Tigermoth airplane! Brian Edwards flew this plane from London to Perth to raise money for legacy. He has since passed but his daughter in law was the one who served us for the wine tasting. It was evident she was very proud of the winery and the history behind it. Great tasting wines and fantastic experience. We look forward to the restaurant opening. Highly recommended.

The place? Wow! The wines? Wow! The hospitality? Wow wow wow!

Fiona was so accommodating, knowledgeable, friendly and fun.
We had such a wonderful time at Edwards this past Sunday. Thought it’d be a quick stop, but we could have stayed there all day.
The history of this place and the family is reason enough to visit. The wines are the cherry on top! We took home 3, but I could have easily taken them all.
Also, Matilda seems much more at home now.

Can’t wait for the underwater wines!

My dog felt right at home, albeit a little bored due to not being old enough for tastings 😉
She enjoyed all the pats and attention!

Visited this new winery a few weeks ago. A friendly and informative welcome - must listen to the story about Matilda! Great wines and tasting in a beautiful setting. Ignore Google maps if it says it's closed, it isn't- go visit! Also can hold personal tastings too.

This winery is sure to impress. The new cellar door is both large, yet intimate. The building is beautifully and thoughtfully appointed, and the outlook is serene and relaxing. You are warmly welcomed in by Bec, who takes you through the story of Brian Edwards, the winery and his beautiful Tiger Moth, Matilda. We will return again to see the new art gallery we sadly missed as we didn't have time. Congratulations on the new cellar door and thank you for your hospitality!
