AssetZ

After being advised to use these guys from a friend we went ahead and had 3 or four consultations with ASSETZ and decided to move forward on a property they advised in Emerald QLD for an investment. At the time we knew there was a small risk attached to the purchase as did the bank.m when the valuation of the property came bake $30k shy of what ASSETZ were trying to sell it to us for. Straight away we tried to cancel the contract but the salesman offered us a discount. So we decided to go ahead. The property and the figures Assetz quoted for rent and the value of the property was about $350 short per week for rent and $200000 plus short on the current value of the house. I understand ultimately this was our decision but it was supposedly based upon the professional advice that ASSETZ offered.

This was not the worst part of their service though. ASSETZ was supposed to ensure the quality of the build and deal with the builder when problems arose. This did not happen. As soon as the money was payed no further service was offered. It was left up to me to go through the builders association and get the poor building quality fixed. This was required on more than one occasion.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Try to find an independent advisor who does not make money off of the product they are trying to sell you.

This property is now a chain around our neck. Poor advice and poor service.
