Johanna Beach Campground

Booked a site in mid August so it was overcast and drizzly but we were in a campervan so it was great! One of only 3 cars there. Be aware that sites 18-25 are on a grassy hill with an incline. I'm guessing these sites are more for caravans or large tent set ups as they were quite big. The other sites appeared to be more level. Must be self sufficient with water and power. Several drop loos that were well stocked with TP when we were there but it was dead of winter. I can imagine it would be packed out in summer, it is about a 1 minute walk to a lovely beach. There is a decent sized car park for day visitors too and there were lots of locals there with their pooches. Had little to no reception with Optus and Aldi. Road becomes unsealed as you enter the campground but is fine for all vehicles but lots of pot holes!

Beautiful spot to spend a night or two.
Drop toilets were clean.
No drinkable water.
Nice undercover table area.
Super close to the beach. Could hear the waves crashing all night long. So peaceful.
Dog friendly if on a lead.

Spent two nights here with my family and my dog. Definitely a great place to camp. The campground is behind the sea and surrounded by trees. A short walk to the beach that is not busy but beautiful. Toilet is clean and well maintained with untreated water. Can be busy during weekends so come early.

Camped at Johanna's with my partner and dog. Clean toilet facilities, right next to the beach, rain water tap. The beach is not a swimming beach as it has rough and big waves but its a stunning landscape and you can go on a long walk.

Johannas beach is probably our favourite VIC beach. The coastline is simply stunning. The waves are mesmerising.

beautiful spot, shame some think that the no camp fire regulations don't apply to them and leave burnt patches with coals on the ground.

Idk about the campsite, but the beach is sick

We camped here with our two dogs from the 19th-21st of april as its a dog friendly campground, very nice area and specious camping spots! The beach is so beautiful however not recommended for swimming.

Beautiful place with great views. Camping grounds are located right above the beach.

15$ for a campground just next to the beach, despite you cannot bath because it’s too wavy still a magnificent view!
