Always great and consistent food, service and atmosphere. Celebrate my wife's birthday here every year. Staff even sang Happy Birthday and put a candle in the Chocolate Budino dessert. Perfect end to her birthday. Thanks Italy 1.

Seafood linguine marinara was superb and my deserts was so yummy, our waitress Claudia, she is so nice and very helpful always happy to be back in this place 🥰🥰🥰

With Risotto this good, I’m not sure why they serve anything else.

Had the scallop entrée and it was really delicious. The textures were really great with the soft scallop and the crispy bits on top. Calamari was nice, nothing to write home about.

The risotto though was delectable. Excellent balance of creaminess and a tinge of spice. The seafood tasted very fresh too and proportion was even.

Will definitely return to try the duck risotto 👌🏼

Dined for lunch with 5 friends. I had the pork cotoletta for main, chocolate pudding for dessert & a margarita cocktail. All the food & drinks were delicious & all the other ladies dining enjoyed their meals also. Will return as food, service & ambience is done well here.

I’ve lived in the area for thirty years but somehow never dined here. It was a delightful experience, really generous seafood in their pasta and a good selection of red. What a gem and no wonder it’s been around for 30+ years

We had a beautiful evening at Italy 1 Camberwell. Our food and drinks were delicious and the service was professional yet friendly and attentive. Eating at Italy 1 Camberwell is like having a dinner party at a good friend’s house. A real local Camberwell classic.

Perhaps light background music would improve the already high standard of the ambience. This was our second visit In 6 weeks. We found the lunch time experience on a par with the 6-8pm service. We highly recommend Italy 1 as a truely authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of Camberwell.. The customer service is outstanding.

Food here is beautiful. Price is backed by great tasting food and generous portions. Service is always on point and the specials are 👌🏼, especially the barramundi.
I recommend booking cause the place gets busy, as it should, with the food they offer.

Good food, good ambience, very good for large groups.. My suggestion would to be to take a look at the menu before going, otherwise you would most probably end up with quite a bit of queries.. (maybe i am not too familiar with Italian cuisine /menu). Tip.. If you are going for the fish of the day, do remember to order sides along with it, as the dish itself will have a rather small piece of barramnundi. Staff: friendly and courteous.. Was fun to interact with them.. Overall.. An excellent restaurant!

We came back to Melbourne a couple of weeks ago after a long period of absence. Had lunch at Italy 1 with guests. We were very satisfied with the food and service. The duck, the marinara pasta, the risotto, the seafood platter were exceptional. And the house was full. Nice to see the restaurant stood the test of Covid lockdown, coming back so strongly.

We had such a great night celebrating my 50th birthday. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious - as always!
