An excellent value Family run Thai restaurant. Great food, comfortable environment and pleasant staff. Been a few times and consistently good.

Had a Pad Se Ew that wasnt ew at all! It was fantastic! Was served by a young man by the name of Alex (printed on their shirt) who provided great service!

The food here is easily the best Thai food in the Northern suburbs. To add to that, the prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are big, and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. When the staff are as relaxed and welcoming as they are here, it makes your dining experience even more enjoyable. Thanks Kai Mook Thai!

Dining here is closest ambience locally to being in Thailand (22 Thailand visits and back in February!).

Delicious food and really lovely and helpful staff. My family often find Australian Thai food a bit too sweet for our taste and they very happily offered to make it less sweet for us. Will definitely be return customers!

In our immediate area of the Diamond Valley, we are spoilt for choice with excellent Thai restaurants. This one has always been on our list, but maybe not first choice in the past. However, we are now regulars. The quality is so consistent, and the prices so reasonable. The service is friendly, too. I made an error ordering wine, and it was entirely my mistake. When the waiter notice I had not drunk my wine, and I explained why, they took it off the bill anyway even though it was my error, not theirs.

I go to Kai Mook pretty much every time in in Watsonia on the night shift. The mixed appetisers are great and I highly recommend the BBQ Thai chicken or pork (both excellent). As I said, highly recommended, definite repeat customer.

Best restaurant ever, 100, A+, absolutely wonderful beautiful restaurant very yum, It’s got the hella sick vibes man, very chill. Very nice food, good food, yummy, it got that hella chicken satay, absolutely wingin it my guy, highly recommend to anyone who likes food. I even made a poem about how nice this restaurant is,

Hella nice food, give me a nice mood
Vibes do be nice, I really like the rice

Fantastic food. Probably the best Thai we've had. Also a really great atmosphere with authentic Thai decor. This place would have to be the best kept secret in the North Eastern suburbs.

Went here on sunday, the food was amazing, the service was great, had a bit of a chat with one of the boys at the front about footy! totally recommended, beautiful food, beautiful people!

Soooo delicious. We come half way across town just to eat here. Everything on the menu is great - we should know as we have tried everything on the menu - keep up the great work.

My favourite is stir fried chicken with basil, so tasty with a bit of chilli kick and crunchy fresh vegies. Various curry dishes also recommended with roti or rice. They are quite busy on Fri & Sat so be patient with your take away orders.

This fantastic Asian cuisine is super tasty and fresh it will surly satisfy your tastebuds and fill the hole in your stomach and will leave you wanting more set in the heart of lower plenty it is kid friendly and is a great night out with the family or a romantic dinner for two it is also good for groups so come on down and try it for yourself

I have gone here a few times, this is my favourite Thai place. They have amazing satay sauce, amazing atmosphere that is super calming.
