Only ever camped here for the past 2 years, never stayed in the cabins. Facilities are well maintained but quite small and cosy. Not a lot for the kids to do within the park other than ride bikes but the beach is a minute walk away and you always get an amazing sunset. Great kiosk if you don't want to cook and the Minlaton bakery is 15mins away.

Perfect family holiday.
Very small caravan park, no play ground or pool, but being right by the beach wasn't missed by our 9 year old. Very sleepy "town", lots of generational campers returning year after year for their summer holidays. The only place we found to purchase food was the park kiosk, but Minlaton is only 15 minutes away has IGA for all supplies. Camp sites are huge, so lots of room for tent, gazebo, car, bikes, cricket pitch...Drinks at the jetty nightly for the gorgeous sunsets, great beach for water play with small children. Dolphins, stingrays, seal, fishes, pelicans all visit the beach. Fishing from the jetty they were catching lots of squid, and King George Whiting further out in boats. Park facilities are small, with only a handful of showers/toilets but we didn't have any issues. And the showers were great. Only 2 coin operated washing machines but we weren't on holidays to do laundry everyday!
We used Port Rickaby as a base to explore the Yorke Peninsula and loved every minute...well except for the wind but that's mother nature for you!

Clean cabins, double beds in both bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. So close to the sea you can hear it all night. Great kiosk where take away food is available . Small well laid out park. This will be our second visit as the experience was so good last time.

To date the powered sites are $31 pn. Non power $28. . Lovely park, clean and friendly staff. Great takeaway meals at the kiosk. Sells fishing gear & bait. Has basic household supplies. Very close to the awesome beach and fishing jetty. Highly recommend.

Great park. Quiet and we'll maintained. The site we had was in almost the best spot. Not quite seafront but with a good view of the jetty. Bonus close by the public amenities and barbecue shelter. Real value compared to all other parks. We will return.

Fabulous small caravan park on a beautiful little beach. We really liked that it is old school - no water parks, jumping pillow, etc. All sites close to amenities and great view along the coast. Good kiosk with basic supplies available, run by friendly and helpful staff.

Had a 3 night Holiday Auction which was an enjoyable experience. Being right on the sea front there were many walking trails to enjoy as well as proximity to the Southern Peninsula attractions. Clean and tidy premises, friendly Hosts and a well stocked Kiosk for food etc. Excellent spot to unwind and just relax.

Well this place is a real Gem. We are Travelling Australia this place has been one of our highlights. We tried to get into Point Turton and theywere full so we came here. Went to Point Turton to check it out to see what we had missed. I am so glad they were booked out cause this is a million dollar location,
the Jetty has been so good in catching squid. The beach is amazing. The park is really clean the managers are friendly and do a great job. The kiosk does some great food also and you can buy most essentials. Thank you for a great stay . If we come back to SA we will definetly come here again. Could not rate this location high
enough it deserves 10 stars.

We just LOVED our stay at Port Rickaby Caravan Park! Definitely our favourite spot after seeing all the Yorke Peninsula.
The powdered water spots are just amazing, you get the best view of the sea and the jetty from them. Also the sunset over there is just spectacular.

So impressed with this caravan park! The best we found on the YP.
We initially wanted to stay at the highly recommended point Turton caravan park however they were booked out. And we are SO glad we chose port Rickaby instead.

An amazing grassy park with views of the beach, large sites and clean amenities. Dog friendly.

The jetty is just outside the park (30 second walk) and has the most amazing sunsets and a great spot for fishing and catching lots of squid!

Super quiet area and very safe for kids.

The beach is beautiful and a short walk leads to an even more beautiful beach along the coast.

The store has great fish and chips and all the essentials you might need.

Great location for exploring the YP. We will be back!

This place is fabulous. Quiet ,right by the beach. Good grass. The only thing missing is a dump point , but there is one in the next town.

finding this beach was the highlight of our YP trip!
barely saw it on the map.... but did it anyways... and then this mellow warm beach, great jetty for a flying leap and the shelter on the end of the jetty made lunch and an afternoon not only nice, but great!
bought some hot chips from the caravan park kiosk meters away, > someone in there has chip talent. Had to go back for more....!

So glad we decided to start our new adventures, in our Sirius B camper at Rickaby.
Mine hosts Michelle & Richard are the epitomy of the Aussie spirit, helpful & tolerant.

The ocean views, especially the sunsets are amazing.

The Park being at the ‘end of the road’, has very little passing traffic & no pub.

Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to just chill, oh and you can go fishing from the jetty, rocks or beach, as well as launching your boat for those sea fisher folk.

Awesome place to stay! The owners Richard and Michelle are great people, very friendly. Take the time to check out the piece of Aboriginal art in the camp kitchen, it's amazing! Wish I was still there!
