Chilly night with hot skewers was such a bliss.
🟢 The skewers were pretty tasty. I got the lamb skewers, honey chicken wings, chicken skins and Taiwan sausages, pretty good overall, suitable with beers.
🟢 Decent sized and very affordable. Even though you have to order 2 skewers per item, it didn't pose much of a problem. Great for a quick snack session.
🟡 The dumplings were a bit dry inside. And the skin was pretty thick.

My friend recommend this place and it worth the reputation.

Easily the best Chinese BBQ place in the city! Comprehensive menu, food consistent and most importantly absolutely delicious. No frills service, where you normally need to flag down a waiter. The lamb is divine - a perfect fat to meat ratio which is always succulent and seasoned perfectly.

it was very busy when we visited but the service was still quite prompt and the skewers were delicious, reasonably priced and could be very spicy, which is always a good thing for me!

First time to visit this eatery today. The various meats, seafood, & veggies were grilled to perfection. The sauces were delectable and the fried rice superb. Will definitely go again. 🥢👍🥢

Went for dinner on Sunday night around 6:30pm and we found the service was not slow like other people mentioned but it also wasn't full house. The waitresses were helpful and told if they thought were ordering too much and they also let us know about the buy 5x get 1x free deal. During our second round of orders, a few items didn't come out but we didn't need them (over ordered) so asked if we could cancel it if they haven't started cooking, and they happily obliged. I also didn't think it was expensive like others mentioned in other reviews. I think if you're new you should order 1x skewer of all the types that interest you and then after trying it, order more of the ones you like. We enjoyed our dinner there, would recommend and would also return.

My parther and I love regional chinese cuisine and are very adventurous with our culinary experiences. We love simon taste so much since being taken here for the first time by our son and his fiancé. We love Japanese Yakitori and this is like the chinese version of that. The food on sticks is delicious and everyone should order a kilo of the clams. They're amazing.
If you don't like traditional spicy chinese food and prefer your asian food to be not so hot and not so spicy maybe don't come here but if you want to thrill your tastebuds and try something you wouldn't usually order then Simon Taste rocks. Everything washed down with a big Tsing Tao Beer! We've been back twice since and have loved it every time. the staff are super friendly and really nice.

Friendly fast service, smells great and the restaurant is so clean and modern and calm.

Visited with a friend for the first time last week. The food was really nice - especially the fried rice, wings and scallops! I definitely want to go back there again :)
