We had the banquet for dinner and it was delicious, servings were very generous too!

The lady was very nice and friendly, great vibe all round!

Highly recommend and will visit again!

Dinner at @so_urban_bbq: delicious food and great service. It was a bit quiet when we went, and the food came out very quickly. The meat was placed on the grill in front of us, and we only had to wait a very short time before we devoured everything 😅.

The BBQ: great for people who are a bit on the lazier side 😅, because they do all the work for you! Loooooove it 🤤🤤🤤.

Kimchi soup side: just a super yummy kimchi soup. Very mildly spicy only.

Amazing food! Incredibly tasty - they put in the extra effort and have great attention to detail! SUPER friendly and accommodating staff.

Surprisingly delicious breakfast - worth noting because I won’t normally consider bbq and breakfast.

My Wife and I, and two great friends just had a excellent meal. Fantastic service, so friendly and engaging. We did the "feed me"menu, it was fantastic value and food was awesome. The food and great service came out just in time each time. We will be back, highly recommended to anyone. We need to support great local businesses like this more!

Went to So Urban BBQ about 2 months ago for lunch with my wife. The food was very good, the service excellent and the Chef was a really great guy. Returned on Saturday night for a friends birthday. The event was outside in the rear garden area and it was obvious from the beginning that the staff had put in a lot of work to make sure everything was well organized before the guests arrived. The food was really good starting with crispy Korean Chicken with a number of sauces through to a number of starters and finishing with Korean BBQ with chicken (2 types), beef and pork. The quality of the food was very good and quantity of food was more than sufficient with most tables leaving food because they were full. The service for both food and drinks was excellent and the owners were extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to the 2 young guys who we discovered were working their first night. They did a great job. A very relaxed and friendly restaurant. It is worth while getting to know the owners as they are wonderful couple who work very hard to provide great food and good service.

So many incredible moments to share !! We love that the owners work there. They know their customers. They make Incredible dishes that fill you into a comfortable food explosion of taste, flavour, genuine lived Korean life and textures. Best of all they are genuine, hardworking, kind people …. So what’s not to love?! NOTHING!

We took a group of 6 for the Feed Me banquet and had a fantastic experience. The quality of food was impeccable and we were made to feel welcome upon entry and the level of service was superb. We were able to eat at our own pace and the night was finished off by a desert platter that hit the spot. We look forward to returning and highly recommend

I've been here twice and I'll be coming back again! It's not cheap but it's 100% worth it, I just want to try everything on the menu!

We were so impressed with the value, the (amazing) food and great service.

Rose served us and she was fantastic.

Everyone is still raving about how much we enjoyed the experience.

Cozy environment, very nice food especially the bbq and very friendly staff

I just had my 40th Hawaiian themed birthday at SO, I booked out the back yard section to cover 30 guests, and a small DJ booth. SO are super lovely people, everything was so easy to communicate through and on the day of the event, everything was set up perfectly, all my guests felt welcomed by friendly staff, the food came out in timely order - we had beers in ice buckets, white wine, champagne, red, soju, all throughout the tables, Korean tapas (a mix of street food) which my guests and I had never tried, Korean Fried chicken, and Korean BBQ.
All my guests had a really great time, everyone loved the food, and everyone will be returning with their families, and I must say that the price was very affordable, so once again - THANK YOU SO!!

Very friendly staff and good service. Contrary to what others have written, I have experienced nothing but above and beyond service the two times I have been here. The food was delicious too - the prawn sando is deadly, and the bbq is cooked to perfection. I especially liked how they gave us plenty of lettuce to wrap the meat with!

I have never been to a Korean BBQ experience before, and I was made to feel extremely welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and great at their jobs.

As for the food, not only was it very tasty, but over all it was a fun experience. Experimenting with the flavours and creating our own unique meals was amazing! I would like to give a special shout out to the home made tiramisu, it was the best tiramisu I have ever had the pleasure of eating and left me feeling very satisfied and tied my meal together nicely.

I will definitely be coming back!

Excellent service, happy smile staff and freaking delicious food. Top quality place and on top of that value for money is up there. The perfect Korean food heaven.

Great restaurant for a get together lunch or dinner. BBQ and tapas menus are delicious. Service is faultless. Tasty pastries and great coffee in the mornings make So Urban a standout.
