Gioco Gelato

I’ve never had such amazing gelato! The pistachio flavour actually tastes like pistachio. We basically licked the cups clean we loved them so much. Will be back to try the pasta ❤

Come past for some dessert and was amazed by this quaint ice creamery cafe. The ice cream is seriously the best I've ever tasted. Unique and interesting flavours mixed with some of the classics. I tried amarena sour cherry and roasted almonds with lemon zest
Will definately be coming back for a tasting of some of the other desserts and coffee.

With a small selection, Gioco Gelato is definitely a specialty store.
From the small window in the wall, you don't get to see them pull the icecream from the pozzetti cases but you definitely get to taste quality. It has a memorable creaminess that's smooth and light. Perfect to cool you down on a summer's day.

Worthwhile stopping by if you're in the Reservoir/Thomastown area and looking for a way to cool you down! They were pretty friendly from the brief interaction I had 😊.

First review and likely my last. Lived in Rezza for 6 years and melbourne for 20+. This place has hands down the best gelato in melbourne. The lady was friendly and service was excellent. But whats got me returning again and again is the persistent high quality product this place offers. Hoping to stay with you guys for many more years. Popping by tomorrow for a quick scoop on my way to groceries i rkn.

Lovely people and service and best mango sorbet I’ve ever had

We visited for gelato on a Sunday afternoon. Google advised that they were open from 1-5, however there was no-one to take our order. There was some confusion as we were later asked if we wanted gelato. We did and ordered home-made sour plum (amarena), cookies and cream and cassata. They were all very good - just make sure they're open!

I LOVE this quirky little retro gelateria cafe. The gelato is the highest quality and the best I've ever tasted by far - favourite flavours would have to be Caramel & Salted Peanut, Amarena Cherry and Pistachio. The panna cotta is silky smooth and to die for. The staff are friendly and welcoming... Cool tunes in the background... Feels like home away from home. 6 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delicious home made ice cream, tasty flavours without being too sweet. Friendly service and nice little seating area at front. A hidden gem.

A hidden gem - The gelati sold here is beyond five stars. Do yourself a favour and check them out, the pistachio as well as the amarena (sour cherry) are absolutely amazing.

Today my partner and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Serge and Louise.

Not only was their homemade Gelato Hands down, THE most devine I have EVER experienced without a doubt! We had a wonderful chat : )
Both Serge and Louise are so passionate and knowledgeable about flavour combinations and what aesthetically looks sensational with their creations.
We also had a good laugh and was treated like VIPs/Family.

Without hesitation, we can't recommend you highly enough!!! You guys really do 'Top the Cake'

A true gem in the north, the time, passion and quality that goes into their food and gelato is second to none! Not to mention the vibe from the staff and cafe is sensational! Highly recommended, side note their nutella on roids gelato is to die for. 🤤 Very happy repeat customer.

Lovely staff to go with sensational ice cream. Not open all the time, so take advantage of when they are, buy a tub!
