Telegraph Hotel Gunning

Just had a nice cold beer on a Friday late afternoon after the end of a hard working week on our farm.
We love our Friday cool down.
Easy parking out the front. Great atmosphere. Also meet some great people just passing through. And had a few very friendly cold beers with them too
Great food at the restaurant section too.
We usually have regular dinners there before travelling back home to Sydney.
Had some really good meals there. Garlic bread just melts in your mouth. Prices are fair too.

Just had takeaway burgers and chips from here on a freezing saturday night - delicious old school burger with the lot, homemade patty and all.
Chips were excellent too, 2nd only to the friendly customer service.
All for a more than fair price.

Stoped in for a beer and Hamburger for lunch on our way back from Omeo.
I thought they need the money more than the service centres.
Hamburger was bang on.
I good old tradition Hamburger cooked fresh and with beetroot.
Well worth the extra 2 or 3 mins off the hi way.

Stopped for lunch, glad another option is available in Gunning. Great $25 special burger , fresh and tasty. Quick delivery which is great on a highway stopover

Had a great night. We were camped at Balfour's so it was just a short walk.
Staff very friendly. Food really good.
I even won a meat tray!

Called in and got a take away hamburger & chips, service was lovely, restaurant was so warm, lovely and clean. Will be back when travelling again.

Great atmosphere, meals and service. Meals are a good portion, cooked well and great pricing. Friendly staff and locals. Will return again when in the area again.

Terrific old pub. Cold beer and excellent bistro menu and service. $15 lunch special of Barramundi and salad was a cracker. Highly recommend. Good honest pub grub.

Best place to stay and have a meal, meals are amazing with very generous servings, the owners Sue and David are the most friendly and helpful people. Then there is Bill behind the bar. If you don't get a laugh with him, you're not living, he's the happiest and most lovely person.

Just had a delicious dinner with my husband and kids at the Telegraph Hotel. I had a burger with the lot and it was the best burger I've had in ages, and such good value. Everyone else's meals were really tasty and generous, I tried some schnitzel and it was juicy and flavoursome. Staff were run off their feet (it was a busy Saturday night) but were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Noughts and crosses and colouring in to keep the kids busy too. Would highly recommend!

On returning from interstate, made an overnight stop at Gunning. Had dinner and drinks at Telegraph Hotel.The meal was delicious, steak was amazing and great value. Staff extremely friendly and would highly recommend the relaxed country atmosphere and hospitality of the hotel.Will definitely return on our next travels.

If you, like me, visit a country town pub looking for simple pub fare done well, then you should take whatever detour necessary to go to the pub in Gunning. We had a steak and two parmies, all were fantastic. Chips were top notch as well. Wish I could give 6 stars.

Recently had dinner at the hotel. Had an Hawaiian parmi with chips and salad. It was so delicious. So good!! The mustard dressing on the salad was very yummy. The parmi was very tasty, and the chips were well seasoned and crunchy. Thank-you. An excellent pub meal. The best!!!!

Excellent pub food. Our crumbed lamb cutlets were delicious. The pub was extra busy too being Friday night. Well done!

Steak sandwich for $10, say no more, great place for something to eat

We were passing through and staying in the free camping ground over night. Went to the pub for dinner and my husband and I had the most amazing scotch fillet, rare, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff as well :-)

Quick service and very tasty

really decent pub feed, we came in on a friday just before end of service and got 6 adult meals and 2 kids meals. everything was well cooked, hot and came out quickly considering how busy it was as everyone comes for the meat raffles. definitely recommend the rocky road cheesecake.

Great service. Did a wonderful job of accommodating a large group for lunch.
