Longreach Tourist Park

Nice park with nice new plots, nice and spacious.
Good location.
Friendly and helpful staff – Alastair was cool.
Camp amenities and kitchen good and clean – they just need a bin in the kitchen itself, and some cheap paper towels for drying hands would be nice.
Can only speak for plots, as I parked up and slept in the car, but my experience was good. Would stay here again.

Great van park. Saw one of the reviews complain about lack of shade.. um did you see the landscape on the way into Longreach 😂 It is obvious when you are there the trees are still growing. There is a decent size pool to cool off in.
Also didn't find the spots small. Have stayed in much smaller. We were able to have our van on oneside of the slab and our car on the other which was awesome.

Ladies at reception were lovely - checked us in, answered my questions and made a dinner reservation for us at the same time. Park was clean and well maintained. Amenities block was clean and everything worked. We loved our stay and it’s close proximity to the Qantas museum

We stayed in one of the cabins for 3 nights. We arrived late on a Sunday evening. Check-in was very easy. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.

5k's out on the edge of town. Was convinent for us. We travel in a big rig, this park had plenty of room for us and drive-through parkes, which we like.
The park has had lots of work done since our last stopover. The park is really good. Nice pool area. Amenities are big and clean
2 blocks - 1 in the front area and 1 down the back area. Also 2 laundry's.
There is the Woolshed bar and bistro inside the park, which is very handy. Most of the pubs/clubs around town have courtesy buses.
We were going to stop longer, most tourist activities are closed for summer. What a shame!
Oh well, I will have to revist Longreach again! 😀

I loved my 3 day stay in the Ringers quarters. As a solo traveller, I found the quarters to be sociable and affordable. Loved the cool pool after long days of sight seeing. Room was comfortable and clean, staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Thanks I'll definitely be back!

Wow! This place is huge but really well spread out with great choice of accomodation encompassing camping, powered sites, unpowered, en suite, cabins, and space for really big rigs!!! Modern amenities, great pool, close to everything, fantastic restaurant on site! Could’ve stayed there for weeks. So much to see and do in Longreach.

$70/night with ensuite bathroom. Phoned ahead of arriving instead of booking online. Large park with great facilities. On-site restaurant with friendly staff. Loved the ensuite.

So stopped here on way south great place to stay, my set up is a tent and power required to my car, so a drive though site was ideal, ground was prefect for tent, the lady in reception was amazing, kind, friendly. All the facilities were well maintained and clean, and the value was average. Don't have kids but looked like there was plenty to do for them on site.

Great park. Stayed in new section. They put us in an RV section and we only had a camper trailer so we were able to set up and still have heaps of space. They did their best to keep amenities clean thru the unseasonable rain we just had. People getting bogged as the new area didn't have time to harden up but was great entertainment and everyone helped each other out. Look forward to seeing it in a few years once garden areas grow!! Tavern needs to work on the menu and food quality maybe 🙄 can be very expensive once you do the add ons. Not really good menu idea when people budget when travelling. Will certainly be back

Great park, very clean cabins, great laundry area, very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay here. Hopefully we'll be back again.

Stayed overnight in the cabin, very clean, spacious, modern with stove top,and comfy bed, all you need., would highly recommend.

A good quality park - decent size sites and large clean amenities block. Staff were friendly and helpful. Downsides were it is a very large park with rows and rows and rows of sites - it really is a village and if you like that kind of thing, it's great. And not much grass, trees etc. - possibly a bit difficult to maintain in that climate and size of park. Had a pleasant meal at the Woolshed bar/restaurant on site and there was a guy with guitar singing.

One of my favourite places to stop and stay been there many times and the woodshed has great food and entertainment.

A very nice quiet park. We spent 3 days there. Amenities nice and clean. Would stay there again.

Spacious, quiet and great amenities :-) Staff were incredibly helpful! Nothing was too much trouble! So much room to manoevre the van and UTE! Three spaces for every set up. The sites we were on had the concrete slab in the middle and spaces either side :-) Great!

Very spacious, well set out. A little dusty, with not much grass, but to be expected.
Close to town.

Staff are always helpful, friendly and hospitable. The park is clean, roomy and well laid out. Plenty of ensuite sites and well located tenting area. The kitchen area is centrally located next to amenaties and tge pool. Fantastic place to stay. Loved all the attraction in Longreach too.

Easy access to town and close to main attractions

Just finished 3 day stay. Office staff considerate to our need to change sites after a foot injury made walking difficult. Facilities excellent, shower cubicle roomy , sufficient hooks and very hot water. Laundry easy to use and plenty of line space. Convenient to the two major attractions. Woolshed Bar pizza and pasta night great fun. Camp kitchen fine, just require something to clean bbqs with - cleaning agent/scourer.
