Grassroots Deli Cafe

Visited twice during my stay at Port Campbell. Good food and coffee. Friendly and courteous staff. The cafe sells quite a range of nice souvenir items as well, including pretty magnets of 12 Apostles and Port Campbell. Fairly pricey but good quality.

Judging from the number of people there, can assume that it’s the best deli in Port Campbell for breakfast.

Port Campbell is such a small town. this cafe is a gem for both locals and tourists.

Incredible food! And coffe too! Will always come back here. Service of the younger girls is also very lovely and warm. Their service made it even better, thanks!

Loved that a marshmallow that came with my almond Mylk hot chocolate!

Muesli was great with seasonal fruit. Could be sweetened with a touch of honey.

Breakfast bruschetta on sourdough was great. Great service and vibe.
Love the gluten free brownie and friand we took for the road. Super tasty and appreciated that alternative diet is catered for .

Food: The beef burger was enormous and great value for money. The chips on the side were incredible, only thing lacking was tomato sauce or aioli to go with it. The gnocchi was delicious too and a good size for the price.

Drinks: Coffee was too strong for my taste (I like milky coffee) but the latte art was beautifully executed. Unfortunately the chai was too sweet.

The tables were in very close proximity to the displays and products they were selling so unfortunately people kept coming around our table whilst we were eating which took away from the the atmosphere of the place. Despite this, I will be back next time I’m out towards the Great Ocean Road because the food is great and reasonably priced

We have had a wonderful time at the café. The meat pie was delicious, and so did the salad next to it. The muffin was also delicious (chocolate and berries). I would have happily tried more food, but I was full!
It's definitely a place to stop for any meal!

Stopped by Port Campbell looking for lunch and came across Grassroots. Dog friendly outdoor area in the front.

Had the spinach ricotta roll and partner ordered the pumpkin toastie. I wasn’t expecting much but both were really good. Decent coffee too.

If you’re traveling through the area, this cafe is absolutely worth detouring for. The staff were super friendly, the vibe is absolutely stunning and the food was fantastic :) definitely the best muffin I’ve ever had.
The cafe is filled with merchandise from local artists, including Indigenous artists which is absolutely brilliant!! So so happy to see this.
Really good coffee, this cafe takes steps in reducing single use waste which is commendable.
Only downside is that we live 10+ hours away! We will absolutely be stopping by if we’re ever down in Port Campbell again! Thank you to this amazing team. Keep up the good work :)

Lovely cafe, we had bacon and eggs for breakfast. Perfectly cooked breakfast, crispy bacon, wish I knew how they prepared their sour dough toast because it was lovely and tasty. All the food looked really nice and would have loved to have tried more if I could have! Lovely surroundings with a beautiful and tempting assortment of deli goods and gifts on display all around the walls. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

Food here was delicious. Nice place with trinkets and other products to browse as well. Food took a little bit to come out, but the chicken burger was delicious. Chips were also top notch. Worth a stop if you're in Port Campbell!

Small shop with a big heart. Tucked in a small town, this was a gem which we got to know on our way back after visiting the nearby attractions. Food is absolutely worth trying for with the stunning vibe.

Perfect place for breakfast! The green juice was so good. Shared The Gorg Breakfast and it was so delicious. The ingredients were perfectly cooked and so tasty. Also shared a Raspberry filled Doughnut and it was amazing!! Definitely recommend coming here!

Lovely food and incredibly generous serving size on the Middle Eastern salad (pictured). Coffee was very nice too 😊

Bruschetta was the bomb!! Price a little steep but typical of the great ocean road. Friendly customer service.

Best food spot in town! Great coffee and the best stopover for scrambled eggs. Sourdough bread is a solid 10/10, as per prior reviews. Strong wifi as well making it a good pit stop for those visiting the nearby sights

We stayed in Port Campbell for a couple of nights and the breakfast here was a standout. I had the Loch Ard and my partner had the salmon. Both meals were great value and tastier than most breakfasts I've had in Melbourne. Service was great too!

Best Aussie breakfast I had so far. Sourdough is baked to perfection. Yum!

Great food… short drive from the 12 Apostoles. Went for lunch, excellent, the breakfast menu looked great as well.
