St Leonards Pier

Stopped at St Leonards pier on our way home from camping at Indented Head. Spot on beautiful day caught the Saturday market along the picnic ground close to the beach. Decent walk around the market selling local produce combined with old and new stuff. People are warm and almost everyone has dog since this park is a dog friendly even in the beach too. Found playgrounds and walking trails. There is a small kiosk selling coffee and shakes just at the foot of the pier. Toilet available and outdoor showers from one end to another includes change rooms. Parking could be heavy probably because of the market.

Lovely sunny day! Beautiful views. Great for boating and fishing and a little paddling around! Big playground for the kiddies. A great pub and cafes. Huge IGA and a large caravan park. All only a short drive from Geelong!

Great spot for King George, whiting swimming around the pier what I seen when I was walking there, which I’ll be back to fish later in time

Pier needs an upgrade . Great cafe on pier. Minimum car space for parking.

This pier has age.... but there are gannets there, so it is good. Also there is:leatherjacket fish.

Amazing place

A great shore entry scuba diving location with convenient car park and coffee shed right there. No toilet block nearby though, you have to go back onto the main shopping street which is within sight.

I've been visiting the pier for seventy years, and still find it interesting to see what's happening in the water.

Not a bad spot to go and throw a line in. Lots of other people fish there so not easy to get a spot but you can catch fish and in particular squid. St Leonard’s is a small coastal town with not many shops but has a nice pub and the pier. I would recommend doing what most fisherman do and take your boat if u travel here as the fishing out a bit further is much better than scratching for a spot on the pier and hoping for a couple of tiny squid.

Ok for its age but not kids friendly & it could do with some policing in summer.....stay away if you family friendly atmosphere

I don’t recommend things place at all as I driven twice and took me nearly 3 hours every time with no spots available to put our rods on , every person was using 4~5 rods and holding the whole area , hopefully it’ll be a restriction to use only 2 rods person at that area .
