ABC Chicken

This is a nice cozy place to have some good food. They have many varieties of Chicken. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I ordered one of their signature dishes ABC Chicken Boneless. It was really tasty. Also got some Fried Rice Cake which was delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for some nice Korean fried chicken.

What a lovely surprise this place was, helpful staff with great food.
We really enjoyed our crispy chicken and ABC chicken so tender and tasty, with a side of coldslaw and (Crispy) chips. Our grandson loved his Pluto pups too.
Will definitely be back.

One of the OG Korean fried chicken places that I’ve been going to over the last 7-8 years, the carbonara chicken is one of their best menu items and biggest attractions in my opinion. Always a good mainstay place that has decent seating areas and friendly staff.

I had the pleasure of trying the ABC Chicken and sausages recently, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious! The ABC Chicken was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It had a delightful blend of spices that added an extra kick to every bite. As for the sausages, they were juicy, savory, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a delightful combination of herbs and seasonings that left me wanting more. Overall, I highly recommend both the ABC Chicken and sausages for a mouthwatering and satisfying culinary experience.

Great fried chicken and really nice staff. Made us feel very welcome and helped us out with choosing dishes we'd enjoy.

Why did no one tell me about this place sooner?! I tired the ABC and regular fried chicken and loved both.. they were fresh, delicious & perfectly cooked. There are so many items on the menu.. I’ll be back to try them all. A cute place for great food with your favourite people.

Food so good I forgot to take photos for the review before we started eating. Amazing little place with a bang for its buck. Definitely try the soft shell cold noodles and any of the fried chicken. You will not be disappointed with this place, especially if you go with a group of friends!

I got two meal deals for ABC chicken via Groupon. Normally $52.50c for one, reduced to $32 with the voucher. It included 1/2 a crispy fried chicken (original) fries with tri dips, corn cheese and a jug of beer. I got two drinks instead as I dont drink (coke and water) I ordered cheese sticks separately.

ABC provides pickled radish and fried wonton strips which I got a refill of, on the house. They'd go well together with the beer. The sides came out after that. It takes at least ten minutes for the chicken to come out as they make it to order. Worth the wait!

I asked a staff member if she thought 1/2 a chicken meal deal was enough for three people and she said she can eat that on her own, so I got two. We ended taking half of it home with us. The servings are generous.

Staff are friendly, food is tasty. I thought the corn could do with a little less sugar, but the pickled radish and a similar food with kimchi would balance that out. There is no lift to get upstairs and the entrance is quite narrow, its not wheelchair accessible. Takeaway containers are .50c each. There is Wilson parking in the area on La Trobe St and street parking scattered around. You get a 5% discount if you pay cash.

Anyways, do try it out, you wont regret it. I went at 5 pm, nobody was around. It gets busy after 6 pm 😋

, hot and crispy.. Seafood pancake awesome. Late might Happy Hour so had double portion crispy chicken and 50% on Asahi on tap. Thank you. Will be back.

We ordered a whole garlic soy chicken and it was the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. The flavour was perfect and the chicken was so juicy and tender.
A lot of other fried chicken places have a lot of tendon, fat/skin, bone and large clumps of flour to make the chicken pieces look bigger, but ABC Chicken had the perfect distribution of meat to bone and coating.
They also give complimentary fried crispy snacks, which were very delicious and the staff refill when empty. This helps to pass the time while waiting for the chicken to arrive.
The restaurant is clean and well lit.

We got some takeaway from here during lockdown and, boy, did it make Lockdown 6.0 so much easier.

We tried the ABC chicken (their secret flavour) and also the original chicken (half and half). A side of corn cheese, fried rice cakes and a serving of their wedges with cheese and bacon sauce.

I must admit we loved every single dish. The chicken is so crispy and juicy, it's incredible. The portions of the corn cheese, rice cakes and wedges were also massive so great value for money but above all it was all fresh and tasty as.

We cannot wait to order again and try other stuff from their menu. Bet it's going to be equally delish.

This place has some of the best fried chicken I've had in Melbourne. In terms of price, quantity and flavour it's definitely bang for your buck. The chicken came out delicately crispy and perfectly fried but its flavour train puts on the burners once it's baptised in the carbonara sauce - something I would never have thought of ordering. The carbonara sauce was peppered with precision and creamy enough to offend an Italian. The rice cake and kimchi pancake were great but nothing special. I've had plenty of fried chicken in my life and I can confirm that this place is absolutely bussin

ABC Chicken have are welcoming joyful environment with polite pleasant staff who make sure everything is satisfactory. The food is mouth watering with an enormous selection to choose from the crispy chicken is crunchy and the seasoning is to die for the mozzarella sticks pull apart and are delicious. We did not have to wait long even on a busy night ABC chicken is truly incredible.

Delicious KFC and great value when combined with Eatclub’s 30% off deal. Definitely one of Melb’s best KFC for sure.

Was hesitant to eat here again after 2 years. I’ve been trying to find a good carbonara chicken in Jakarta and can’t find it to date.

I can finally say that it’s still so sooo good in my opinion!

The boneless carbonara fried chicken (spicy) is still so good and have been my favorite for a long time. I don’t really try the other dishes, maybe those are bad, but this one is still great!

they mentioned short staff on the door but actually service is great. its not common to see local work in Koran restaurant but they did amazing job. front staff look after every single customer patiently. food is great as always.

ABC Chicken is a restaurant located in Queen Street, Melbourne. The restaurant serves korean fried chicken. There is a wide variety of korean fried chicken and snacks. I personally prefer the carbonara boneless fried chicken. It costs only AUD $33. Fried rice cake is recommended too. My friends who dislike rice cake kept eating my fried rice cake when I ordered it. As an avid fried chicken fan, i have to say this place has the best original recipe KFC in melb. Big call i know. Discount if you pay cash as well!

If you like gami, or nene check this place out instead, has an upstairs dining area that isn’t cramped as well as cheaper and higher quality fried chicken. I know it’s a little out of the way from a typical city mish but definitely worth it!
