Godfrey & Bear

I recently visited Godfrey and Bear Cafe in Boort and had a wonderful experience. After participating in parkrun, my friends and I decided to stop by for some toasties and coffees. Since we had our dogs with us, we opted to sit in the rear courtyard, which was very welcoming.

Although it was a busy day for the cafe and they had a sign indicating takeaway service only, we appreciated their efforts to still accommodate us. The service we received was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious.

I returned to the cafe this morning with my kids and pup, and once again, we sat in the courtyard. We indulged in their mouthwatering raspberry and white chocolate muffins, accompanied by milkshakes, coffee, and hot chocolate. The service was consistently amazing, and I want to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Godfrey and Bear Cafe. They provide great service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thank you so much!

Me and my father had the fish and chips with a coffee and lemon meringue. Everything was very tasty and was very well presented! If you're in the area, you should definitely stop here for food and coffee. Well done!

Passing through Boort I found myself in need of food, so happened to try the "Godfrey and Bear" cafe. I found the staff friendly and efficient, a decent menu selection, good prices and tasty food. I recommend trying them out.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Godfrey and Bear (I had fish and chips, brownie, and an oat chai latte). They had great alternative milk options and an incredible dairy-free brownie. Highly recommend eating here.

A wonderful cafe in the middle of Boort. The service was great with a range of freshly made meals. They also sell merchandise from local makers and suppliers. A great to drop in if going to the lake or just a day out.

I ate here whilst on a silos coach tour, it was such a joy. Happy, obliging owners/staff and the most fabulous gluten free food. I absolutely recommend Godfrey & Bear.

Congratulations to this great cafe for standing up to the current Victorian medical dictatorship that is ruining lives. A fundamental line has been crossed when it comes to the integrity and value of every single person and their inherent right to freedom. It is good to see more businesses like this one fighting back to preserve this fundamental right in our society.

Happy to find such a top notch cafe in a small town. We had beautifully crafted bennys for breakfast with quality coffee, and came back for lunch, burgers and souvlakis with iced coffee. Great service with a smile.
