Very nice atmosphere with genuine artifacts & decorations... Kind & generous people with an old Thai lady still cooking traditional recipes that you can taste the difference... Quite cheap for the location too... All 5 stars 🤩

* Tom Yum Soup: A spicy and sour soup made with shrimp, mushrooms, and lemongrass.
* Mango Sticky Rice: A sweet and refreshing dessert made with glutinous rice, coconut milk, and mango.

The ambience is soothing and appears very traditional.. The service was welcoming and food was served super quick.. We had the Green Curry, Roti with Peanut sauce, Lemon grass stir fry. Every bite was flavourful and had the right blend of spices. I also loved the serving plates which were handmade in Thailand. Definitely worth visiting if you love Thai cuisine..

Stayed nearby and decided to try this place. The Panang Curry was amazing. Hands down the lightest and best curry puffs I've ever had. Lovely service. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here since staying at Ronald MacDonald house in 2009... Have always found staff courteous, friendly, and the food, well no complaints here, always great n yummy... Always a Go To when visiting Melbourne....

One evening I was feeling under the weather & craving for a good soup. This place was supposed to serve tom yum noodle only for lunch but the kind owner-uncle made it available for me! On another dinner I went for pad thai but it was too sweet for me.

I ordered pad thai, the food is sooo good! Exceeded my expectations! Will-come-again restaurant. The boss was good too! He offered me some curry sauce for try as I said I wanted both yellow curry and pad thai but won’t be able to finish two. Great experience! Highly recommended!

There were 5 of us, all of us loved every dish that we ordered, food is delicious with friendly service. The restaurant is very small, unfortunately for us there was a big group over 20 people on 2 tables that were extremely loud, so we couldn't talk, but that is luck of the draw, we would go back.

Authentic and delicious Thai. Red curry pork, amazing, green curry chicken, thumbs up. The vibe is relaxed and established.

I had buffet dinner with 2 of my friends and had an amazing experience!! The foods were quick and delicious. Plus, the portion size was big, we were FULL at the end of our buffet. The server was attentive and kind. I can't think of any better place to enjoy my dinner tonight, other than Lanna Thai ❤

What a little gem this place is. We accidentally stumbled across it. Great menu choices, delicious food, super friendly staff! A definite must have experience!

Located around the periphery of a few hospitals, Lanna Thai projects a warm, cosy escape into a Thai infused ambience. The décor and dishes were not overly heavy, and felt very Thailandic. Upon arriving at Lanna, and attempting to debate between this and the one next to it, an enthusiastic random bystander offered his seal of approval, highly recommending the grilled items, which we couldn't try due to the wide array of our usual favourites being on the menu.

Lots of prawns in our Pad Thai which was delicious and light. The wine was cold and crisp.

They gave me 6 prawns!!! And half of an egg as bonus. Also nice looking fish plate. My very hungry friends are satisfied.

We have visited this restaurant every time we visited the royal childrens . The food is always delicious and the service is always fantastic. We have recommended it several times to several people and they have all come back saying it was the best Thai they have ever eaten . I also agree !!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne. Gorgeous food, friendly service, generous portions. I have been going to Lanna Thai for over 10 years and the quality and the friendly smile never changed, if possible, it is always improving. We went for my in law birthday last night and the had a great time with excellent food.
Simply the best!

Had dinner with friends, the food and service was amazing, to top it off we forgot a valuable item on the table, able to collect next day without any problem, very honest, reasonably priced, definitely going back.
