SinJeon K-Street Food (North Melbourne)

One of my all time favourite Korean street food restaurants. They previously had one in cbd and it used to be our go to place when we have craving for k-street food. This location in north Melbourne seems to be new. What a gem. We ordered couple of teams from the menu. Had the original tokpokki, spam kimbab, corndog and fried chicken and it was absolutely amazing. The service was quick and friendly. The venue is small, limited seating indoor. You can scan QR code and Oder or order at counter if your paying by cash and can get discount as well.

Overall, one of the best k-street restaurants in Mel. Would definitely recommend.

Their food is amazing, really tasty and have a good variety of choice, especially for vegetarian, we are super happy with the food and really enjoyed the whole experience : )

Got the crispy tofu takeaway yesterday (sorry no photo) and the tofu kimbap today. Food is fresh and prepared quickly. Service is friendly. This place is awesome.

Rose Tteockbokki is amazing :) I recommend you to try in store cuz I only delivered it before but it tastes better in store💕 It's a little bit spicy but a little bit!

Great Korean food near a lot of student accommodation! Perfect for a satisfying dinner

Lovely hole in the wall cafe for all your gimbap cravings. We had the kimchi cheese and spam egg gimbap and both were delicious and freshly made. Also tasty and creamy was the pork sausage rose topokki. Recommended for a no frills, quick and filling meal🫰🏽

Very yummy..not a fan of the bar code ordering but I paid cash and got 5% off.. would definitely go back again.

The food is nice. The fish cake soup is nicely warming in a cold day. The spam kimbap is great. Love the atmosphere, waming light and relaxing k-pop songs.

My wife found this quaint, little Korean street food restaurant. What we found was that there were many university students in there eating and picking up their take away orders. It's a sign that this restaurant must be good sd it really is. Love everything I ordered and plates were clean when I finished. When you are in Parkville near the Royal Melbourne Hospital, it is well worth it 👌.

Top place for delicious , quick korean food. Limited seats available. We had the kimbap, ramyeon (my fav), fish cake and soy fried chicken. 😋

A hidden gem! Awesome Korean food at a great value. Perfect for a quick Korean snack which reminded me just how it tastes in Seoul. Ordered Rabokki, Gimmari, bulgogi kimbap, fried chicken and assorted fried snacks.

Gimmari was the highlight! Dunked and dipped with the teokbokki sauce was the best. The Rabokki had good spicy and nice rice cakes. The kimbap is a good choice for a quick takeaway.

We’ve had a really enjoyable lunch at SinJeon where we ordered delicious and generous portion of honey soy fried chicken, the creamy rose ttoekbokki and the beef bulgogi bibimbap. I’d say my favourite was the ttoekbokki, I really enjoyed the creaminess and the chewiness of the rice cakes and sausages. The bibimbap was good but I’m not used to having salad in it, I’m more used to having the hot stone dolsot bibimbap so maybe I wanted it to be warmer as a dish. But overall we still really enjoyed our meal:) my only wish was that they had a public toilet because I really wanted a drink but didn’t want to risk it 😂
