Was recommended to eat here by a colleague and so glad we listened! Fabulous food and great service. Will definitely be back when next in Melbourne.

Swung by this place for a late lunch and wasn't disappointed at all. We were promptly seated and the chargrilled steak was delicious. Although you gotta add $5 for sauce, the mushroom sauce pairs great with the steak and mash, highly recommend. The other must try is the skinless sausages, great for sharing as it comes in a portion of 5 or more. Wine pairings were also great with the meat and the Greek salad came in a generous portion. Very filling lunch indeed!

Been to this magnificent restaurant since the original owners and now their daughter and son in law, have not only continued the traditional, they have excelled it. Always accomodating, friendly with a heart of gold, I feel like I’m eating with the family every time and the food, is simply brilliant !

Very impressed! Came across this little treasure in the city. Quaint old Melbourne setting with indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re looking for a fresh tasting grill then this is the place to go. The meat platter is big and has a great selection. Chicken shaslicks also tasted so good. All the meat tastes like it’s straight from the butcher to the grill and to your plate. Staff are friendly. Service was good. Well recommended.

It was a great night out for me and 14 of my friends. Place is in center of Lygon st. Few tables are available on footpath and street level, while bigger groups are sited upstairs.
Service is excellent so is the food (traditional Serbian) not much of vegetarian choices...so meat lovers please go ahead and book a table.
Prices are.... well what do you expect from being in the center of food street and right in heart of Melbourne.
Only down side is toilet, in saying that im not talking about hygiene, there are one of each male and female (so plan your run to the toilet otherwise line up and wait).

Fantastic experience!! Completely shocked that they had such a large variety of rakija. Had the Kajsija and it was unbelievably good. Kajmak was the real deal as well and reminded me of how my baba made it. Highly recommend this place

Unbelievably delicious 😁. My boyfriend has been raving about the best steak in Melbourne since we met in Sydney and now finally on my birthday a couple years later we had a chance to go. We ended up having the share platter because we just wanted to overwhelm ourselves I guess 😂 and even the steak on that was one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life and I've lived in a few countries 🤦 lol. The whole thing was amazing. Also the service was really lovely! Thanks so much!

5 star review purely because your grill is one of the best in Melbourne. However you have left your regulars disappointed with no word on what’s going on, we’ve had family turn up on a few occasions and the restaurant is closed - would be nice to get an update via social media to give people an update.

We went with another couple for dinner. Our booked outdoor table was nicely prepared for us when we arrived, complete with a crisp white tablecloth. Pleasant environment (NOT far too noisy like other restaurants). Courteous, helpful staff. Our Chevapchichi Sausages, Scotch Fillet, Eye Fillet, Lamb Chops and Grilled Capsicum with Feta Cheese were ALL a culinary delight. Highly recommended for an expertly grilled gourmet meat meal. We will definitely return !!!

Could not recommend this place enough. Been here a few times with both family and friends and we've always left the place smiling and very full! Food is amazing and staff are super friendly. Great drink selection. Highly recommended the Mix meat platter.

My fave restaurant in Melbourne. I come week here weekly. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the staff are so hospitable. Especially Ang, love her! she is the best. The owner Dom aka Andrew Tate is so nice to my friends and I despite me always being late (sorry Dom) I come for the service but I stay for chicken schnitzel. Would recommend 11/10.

Stumbled across this place on Lygon st with my family. We’re holidaying in Melbourne and it’s the best meal we’ve had the whole trip. Beautiful homey flavourful food. The steaks truly are the best we’ve ever had, delicious salads, chicken noodle soup (soup of the day), lamb chops, and chicken & mushrooms. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. The staff are lovely and accommodating. We will certainly be recommending this place to all Melbourne goers and will be returning next time we visit the city.

We always get 110%, the staff are friendly and oh so accommodating.

Must finish with traditional pancake and a glass of port !

Fantastic meal tonight. The entrees were amazing & steak so worth the money. Chose 2 bottles of Shiraz to compliment the meal. Excellent staff. Very helpful & friendly. Will definitely be back. My neice chose the restaurant.
