From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a lovely atmosphere. As a group of 5 travelling tassy it’s often hard to find a place that does all of our meals and drinks well yet this place did just that. A variety of drinks and meals for everyone were ordered (try the chicken and pancakes!) and there were compliments all round. Delicious food, beautiful staff and what seemed to be one of the only places open tor a Sunday breakfast. 10/10 🤌🏻

My wife and I tumbled in here for a late breakfast and coffee on New Year’s Day. They were crazy busy (go figure, most other places in Launceston were closed ‘cause it was a public holiday with hundreds of people around), and they were short staffed.
Food was fantastic, coffee was good, service was a tad slow (see above) but we were there to chill and relax so were happy to wait. We’ll certainly be back!

Cute and fairly quiet cafe tucked away from the main street. Beautiful food, great serving sizes and value, effecient service and a nice place to sit on the weekdays and do some work or read a book! A cafe I definitely keep coming back to!

Me and my dad came here and I absolutely loved it. The waiters were absolutely so lovely and welcoming to me and the service was so great. The food was really nice aswell. I ordered a hot chocolate and they made a little bear face in it and I thought that was so cute. I definitely recommend this for everyone to go. Absolutely amazing, 5 stars for everything ❤

A lovely cafe tucked in behind Brisbane street. The coffee and food was the best I've had in Tasmania so far (I had the brekkie burger and cappuccino). My friends loved their meals too. They had the tropical smoothie, deluxe brekkie, and fried chicken pancakes. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I walked into one of the flashy places on Brisbane Street, realised I would have to eat off disposable plates, and walked out again. Then I wandered down a side alley and found Yolanda Jean. Thank you for a delicious salad served in a real grown-up ceramic bowl with cutlery and glasses that don't go in bins afterwards! I can hear conversations in here too!

The new owners who took over about 6 months ago are really friendly and great to chat to! We came for lunch here and the buttermilk chicken with fried rice blew me away! I absolutely loved it and will no doubt be back! :)

A nice change from all the 'industrial chic' Launceston cafes. Yolanda Jean's is bright and the furniture nice, the service is really excellent, prices reasonable.

The burger +fries was tasty and more than I could eat. The coffee is on the milder side, but really nice, and generous in size.

Came here at the end of our trip to Launceston and it was the best experience. Not only was the food and coffee fantastic, but the staff were incredible with my little 3-year old. We felt like old friends, even though we'd never been before. This kind of atmosphere is what makes you fall in love with a place. Not only that, but the other customers were so delightful as well, and we got chatting to a regular. Definitely recommend and would love to come back next time we're in Tasmania!

Recently stopped in for lunch and every single dish was exceptional. The chicken and vegetable soup was surprisingly hearty with a lot of flavor, and the banana pancakes were also tasty and filling. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Perfection in simplicity... We visited there just ½hr before their closing time still they served us soo well... i would say if you want to have a late brunch or meal, this is the hidden restaurant in Central Arcade CBD.. coffee and a brunch was at the top.. loved it.. I definitely recommend to visit here for your meal..

Very welcoming. The Loaded Chat Potato was delicious & my husband’s scrambled eggs was up there with the best he’d had.

I followed the a frame boards to find a cute cafe tucked into a courtyard off the main street. Staff were smiley, service fast, music gentle, menu has something for everyone, and the breakfast was great. Roasted pumpkin on sourdough with poached eggs, spinach & balsamic glaze. Tea came with extra hot water and the staff later checked if I need more & stopped to chat. Really lovely breakfast experience.

We had breakfast there this morning, with friends who had never been there before. We were greeted like long-lost friends, as we hadn't been there in a while. The service and food were excellent. The range of choices on the menu is very good and the coffee and hot chocolates are great. Our friends said they would be back.
