Make sure you don’t eat any chocolate for days before you come here because you’ll definitely have a chocolate overdose after the tour! You’ll get an insight on how the Zotter chocolate is made and get to try an incredible amount and variety of chocolates during the 90 minute tour.
We’ve been here twice and both times was great! Our kid also loved it and it’s overall just a fun experience and activity.
Plus- the canteen area has excellent espresso which we went back for again later as it was just really so good! And the gift shop is worth going to to buy some of the chocolates you liked best during the tour.

It's one of the best 20€ spent in Austria (the cost of a ticket). You can eat as much chocolate as you actually can )) and the variety is just amazing! Everything is made with such love and attention to details! And the sense of humour! Gosh, I found a place in Austria where the sense of humor is so sharp! The cemetery of ideas is just hilarious! The zoo place is also amazing! So great to have a walk there after the whole day eating chocolate 😁. Thank you. We will be back !

The experience in Zotter Schokolade is amazing. You can try variety of different chocolate and even coffee beans. You will learn how cocoa bean turns to delicious chocolate in different taste. Beside the factory, there’s a farm can visit which also included in the tickets. There’s no visitors when we visited so it’s like a private farm with lot of kids playground. Must go attraction.

I have visited the the chocolate factory today with my son, there was Mr Jossef Zotter himself, great atmosphere and you can eat chocolate until you die, there’s a graveyard for you in the chocolate factory yard. I love the idea of visiting a chocolate factory, the view is amazing, there’s a farm park with animals and many activities for little and grown children! If you want to have peace and harmony visit in a workday.

A very large selection of different types of chocolate and chocolate products. Everything is delicious and you can eat as much as you want. Admittedly, you can't eat a lot of chocolate because it's quite sweet and you'll feel sick, but I certainly didn't regret my visit to this chocolate factory.

Extraordinary destination! Whether one is there with or without kids it is always a great experience!

BUT for parents with kids, it can really be a whole day trip, since there is a huge outside to explore with a petting zoo, polygons(one for younger kids and one for older), small stream to jump over, and many other interesting installations.
Well, anyone even without children can appreciate the outsides as long as they like nature.

The inside is amazing on so many levels. The way the factory is built to enable visitor to actually see the whole process is wonderful.

The movie Played in the beginning of the tour was interesting even for our 5year old (we explained the important parts).

Every single part of the tour is well thought and executed in an interesting way. With robots serving you fancy praline, endophine balls rolling through a Rollercoaster to get to you and ejection shots hidden in corners with alcohol to boost you a bit... And so many other funny elements, too many to list.

It is really a must see!

Oh god what a great experience! First 20 min you watch a documentary about Josef Zotter and his beggining with the chocholate. Beautifully captured. Then you have tastings. It takes up to 1 hour and a half. The chocolate is so delicious. I would definitely go again. At the end we went to the shop and bought lots of chocolates😄

I would recommend for everybody either with or without children it is a good place to experience deliciousness and happyness. You are able to taste around 300 types of chocholate which is really amusing. Before or after the taste you can walk through in an animal zoo, which is also quite nice and you can meet with several types of animal there and also have fun on the playing grounds.

Amazing half day experience for the whole family. After going through the factory you can walk around the garden where there is a children's playground as well. Just a perfect trip, cannot recommend it enough!

One fantastic way to taste over 300 sorts of chocolates. The only advice...Take time. Do not rush. You will need it so you can taste and enjoy all the available stations.

Great place to go on a trip! The factory (museum) is very nicely decorated and you can try more than 200 types of fine chocolates there. Behind the museum is a promenade where you can walk and see various animals such as alpacas, cows, peacocks, donkeys, chickens, sheep... a very interesting and fun experience!

This is so much more than a chocolate factory. This is perfection! Family owned factory that produces chocolate from only the best and bio ingredients and it does it from the start, from the cocoa beans and then everything else. There are more than 500 varieties of chocolate - and they are not flavoured but with real ingredients. You can go on a tour around a factory and there are "tasting stations" every few meters. It is imposible to taste everything. Also you can take a stroll around hills in Zotter zoo where animals are free and just enjoy the positivity and creativity around you. Factory shop - you have to go and see because it is imposible to choose between all of the varieties so whatever you pick - it will be great! Most importantly at Zotter you will feel the passion and love for creating something differently. Also, factory is an art gallery.

Death by Chocolate!!
I never thought I would stop gorging myself on free chocolate. It happened when visiting the Zotter chocolate factory. Fascinating insights into the art of chocolate making and the mind of the visionary (and slightly eccentric) owner/founder. The whole experience interwoven with whimsical art and farm animals on display in the outdoors part of the great self guided tour.
Please be careful when stuffing yourself with hundreds of types of artesian chocolate. Less is more (not my motto, obviously), I did feel slightly unwell when leaving ...

Family loved it. You don't hear children very often, that is to much chocolate. You get a spoon and it is like all you can eat, but be carefull, there are 300 types of chocolate to taste.
Oh, buy tickets online and keep it till you leave the shop. You need it three times.
At the end is a huge chocolate shop....good luck there🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great place to visit and taste all diffferent kinds of flavor of Zotter chocolate. My daughter love it very much. We also enjoy walking around the Tiergarten and played in their playground.

A chocolate factory that works according to minimalist, ecologically conscious, fair principles. What more needs to be added? A wonderful place for both children and adults that, in addition to its main attraction (the factory), also offers the opportunity to walk through a wonderful farm where animals are really taken care of and a solid number of vegetable species are grown. The highlight of the story and the nicest surprise is the restaurant that functions according to the farm-to-table principle.

You have so much chocolate to try and really fun way of finding more about production. They added more trying points from couple years ago that I visited last.

I can't begin to explain what kind of a place this is. The whole experience is legitimately breathtaking. From the informative video that starts the tour, where you learn so much about Zotter and their background. The chocolate factory itself is so fascinating, with more samples and tasters than you could ever imagine, as well as so much incredible information about the processes and different thought processes going into the chocolate. The edible zoo is amazing, with lots of great animals that you can tell are really well cared for, the zoo is really an attraction of itself. Finally, the running chocolate is fascinating, with so many delicious treats to sample. I truly can not reccomend this place enough, it was magical!

The whole site is created with so much humour and love for people and nature. The animal park is full of art and has a funny “graveyard of ideas”. The factory starts with a sweet film about the origins of the different beans with attention both to the people and their social situation. Chocolate, from the whole process, is offered while walking through the factory. If anything the experience is almost too intense. There are many impressions. Everywhere there is built-in lightness and fun, from how the robots behave to the lightbulb chocolate moving around in hanging baskets. Generosity, consideration and inventiveness is reflected in every detail
