Restaurant Pizzeria Platzhirsch

Unexpected very nice family restaurant with a menu that has something for everyone. And everything tastes good! Recommend the Fitness Grill plate. Very tasteful grilled veggies and chicken. Yummiest!!

Excellent food, great and kind services.

This is a very nice location. Mainstream dishes are pizzas but you can also enjoy a good schnitzel (don't ever go to Austria without ever eating a good schnitzel there). The staff is very friendly and helpfull, and service is very quick and good. And most important, the quality of the food is very good. This is the fifth year I visited Platzhirsch and I still can recommend it to everyone.

We had great food here. The salad was huge and delicious with extra pizzabread. The soup was also excellent. The sevice is kind and really fast. The view is amazing, ovelooking to the river.

Platzhirsch is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. I have now been here several times and each time I was astounded by the incredible aesthetics, atmosphere, FOOD and service.
The waiters are extremely friendly and polite and you never have to wait long to have your food served.
The food itself is breathtaking, it always tastes good and is exactly what it says on the menu. For example, if you order a large pizza, you get a LARGE pizza! But, despite the size, I had already eaten mine before I realised that I had wanted to take a picture of it because it was so good!
Lastly, the place itself is absolutely astounding. It's a lot like that tent in Harry Potter, it doesn't look like much on the outside, but the moment you step inside you are taken aback by the incredible atmosphere and beauty of it all.

Best Italian food experience in my life. I recommend going here.

Excellent place to eat in Murau. We are visiting it for 7 years and they are still great if not better then first time. They do excellent pizza but rest of menu is good as well. Only downside is the fact they are popular place, which often means it is crowded. Make a reservation in advance for dinner or you might leave disappointed.
Ps. They accept credit/debit card. We paid our latest visit by Visa debit card.

Possibly the best restaurant in Murau (apart from Silvano)

I've been here twice. First ate pizza, wihch was not that good at all surprisingly (contrary to many reviews here). It wasn't italianish.
I gave it a second chance though which paid off!

The pasta and salad dishes are very well made, tasty, big portions, italianish style! They were really rich with meat as well!

3 satisfied guests here :) Been to Murau a lot, tried many restaurants, but cuisine seems very unimportant there. Silvano was a highlight but since they behaved very rude not once, this place can be my favourite now!

Best damn American Burger in town. Yum!

It is the greatest pizza that I have had the pleasure to taste to date. They have decorated the place to be very cozy, followed up by high quality of service it Cretan extraordinary experience at a median price point.

pizza is huge, so worth the prize. Wiener snitzel was also good. As previous opinions we read, we didn't order pasta. The place is really nice interior, hearth of murau. Recommended
