Hotel & Wirtshaus Post

Last night we went to the Bar of Hotel Post. We had an amazing night. We really want to thank Kristjan for that! His
service was outstanding! Great to see his passion! We really would like to come back :)

My husband and i Stayed at post hotel for 2 nights. It was lovely hotel with great staffs that very help full. Hotel located in the centre of the town walking distance for anywhere. Breakfast selections is amazing. And the sauna is nice too.
PS: post hotel is pet friendly

Had dinner here with the family. Service was friendly and very fast, food was excellent at a reasonable price. Oddly, the sprite costs much more than a Weizen...

A nice clean and modern hotel. Gorgeous cocktail bar that serves the same menu food as the restaurant.

We stayed a few times here. Rooms very clean. Staff very polite. Location is very central. Food is very good. I can't find any faults. Goes extra mile and well prepared for guests. Dog friendly. Also have a bar which stays open till late in the night ! 🤗💛💚 Thank you

Excellent stay at the hotel with my son. This was the second time I had stayed at the hotel and this return trip exceeded high expectations.

We stayed in Feb for a week skiing and everything was perfect. Room was lovely again, the breakfast was a high standard and all the staff, catering and front of office were lovely.

Location is great in the middle of the town too. Sauna facilities are welcomed after a days skiing.

10/10 from us and would highly recommend.

Excellent cuisine with a modern touch to local dishes and a good wine menu. Service is friendly and efficient. The Post Bar next door is stylish and cosmopolitan and a great venue for pre/post dinner drinks.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel and Wirtshaus Post in Sankt Johann very much indeed. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast, fabulous location and wonderful food!! Nothing negative to report :-) Can't wait to go again some time.

Very pleasant hotel with excellent restaurant. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Breakfast decent and extensive. The dinner restaurant was very good and great choice, if you speak only English make sure to translate the specials as they are not on the on line menu. Only draw back in winter was that the snow shovels make a terrible racket when operating and will keep you awake. Otherwise very good and worthwhile. We used it as a base for visiting Kitzbuhel during the Hannenkamm and worked perfectly

The room was perfect and very comfortable. I really enjoyed the personal attention from the owners and staff. They were all very kind, accommodating, and service was outstanding. The food was also excellent. We had all our meals there. Their young daughter is also already a great host.

We very much enjoyed our time at the Gasthaus Post. The food was excellent and all is regional. Also the service was very attentive. Surely look forward to come back.

Great restaurant! Super atmosphere, very kind waiters and they even have a sommelier. The food was delicious, middle price range and enough to leave you full, but not stuffed. We were super satisfied with our visit. The owner took time to talk to us after our visit, which really shows how much they care about you. We will come again!

Excellent and cosy restaurant with a modern Austrian atmosphere. The menu contains both Austrian and international meals.
Enjoyed an excellent dinner with welltasting meals, nice wine and friendly service.
The restaurant appears to be quite popular so reservations are recommended. We reserved online and it worked fine.

Lovely hotel in the middle of the center of St Johann. The food at the restaurant is more than amazing. Same goes for the Sauna, there are 4 saunas. We would like to thank the entire team for our stay.

The best hotel! So quiet and peaceful! Very convenient room! Good mattress and pillows! Excellent view from the windows! Wonderful Sauna! Free visit of the neighboring swim pool Panorama! Super breakfast! Fresh apples at the reception! Breakfast in pack if you leave the hotel earlier in the morning.

Great hotel, great staff, modern amenities. Everything you need, great selection of food and very close to the train station for exploring. We had a mountain view with balcony which was fantastic. It felt like home from home and the staff cannot do enough for you. Loved Belmondo the hotel family dog 🐶

Perfect hotel and especially if you are in a wheelchair. Great food, wonderful service and a fantastic breakfast buffet. The room was immaculate and extremely clean. Highly recommend!

Sehr Gut! I travel a lot for work and have to say this is one of the best places I have been. I had great sleep. Single room is good sized, with enogh space for everything. Small things like a book on bedise table and a bag with towels and slippers for the Spa were really nice to find. Staff of reception great, friendly and helpful. Staff of restaurant not as supernice, but ok. I will def come back here and have already suggested my customer to bring his guests here!

We do love it! It's one of the best places I've ever stayed in.
And I highly recommend it if you want to get a good rest.

Pros:
- very clean & fresh towels every day
- warm cozy room
- ski storage
- free welness area for guests with 4 great saunas and lounge zone with tea
- 7 mins on foot from the railsway station
- city center location
- and amazaing! amazing! breakfasts! they different every morning: a lot of fresh veggies and fruits, cheese and nuts, honey, jams and lots of tea.
- kind staff that helped with all the issues.

Cons:
- one morning we found a small spider in the corner. But it brought us snowy weather for skiing so it was a good sign for us :)
- we stayed in the room for 4 people and it seemed bigger on photo then it was in real.
- not enough space to store clothes in a room for 4 people - just one wardrobe for all.
- it was a bit loudly when we opened the window and snowblowers worked at night on the streets.
