Kaiserlift Kufstein

Wow what a beautiful ride up into the Alps! The cable car was a reasonable price and took us higher than I was expecting. Lots of parking space available at the bottom, and the people working there were super helpful. When you reach the top the views are just amazing! There are also some lovely hikes you can do. BEWARE OF THE ELECTRIC FENCE by the restaurant at the top!!

Very nice chair lift. Safety is a bit questionable as there is no way to belt yourself in and it's a single-cable system, but the safety record seems to be fine. The alm at the middle and top station are really great as is the scenery.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you are flying over the woods. For the sake of an undisturbed miracle avoid peeking times and school breaks. If you have a chance, do it every season, at any time of the day. The seats are designed for single-person use. It is worth every cent.

It's a 20 minute ride to the first station - 900m height. 20 minutes of enjoying the breathtaking view of the natural scenery, and the city below! An absolute must-see when visiting Kufstein.

A wonderful view and a breathtaking experience. I had a fear of height initially but the lift operators cheered me up and even added a yellow sticker to my car, so that it could go down slower. I felt safe and could enjoy the view.

Slow and relaxed you will get to the top. There you will get some beautiful views.

So nice to see the lift is still (again) operational, have so much childhood memories learning to ski as an 8jr. Old boy, all the way to the top where the pistes where in the 80s. It was a bit scary back then, when it was windy and snowing you would get an extra blanket from the lift attendant, no safety bar, just a simple chain I remember?

Must be a great experience but it is currently closed until Friday (23.7.2021). Kufstein had heavy rains and flood, they are clearing up the ways.

Lot of fun. I got to use it for free as I have stayed in a hotel that provided the Kaisertal card.
On the top of the second lift there are some beautiful hiking roads. Dogs can also be carried up the mountain.

Kaiserlift Kufstein is something you have to experience if you are coming to Kufstein. It offers a nice ride between trees and some amazing views at the top. It offers a nice way to combine hiking in one way and taking the cable car the other way. The only downside is that you ought to have money with you if you want to pay on the top. You can buy tickets with a card on the bottom of it though.
