A nice surprise during a day trip to St. Pölten. Very good food, quick service and good drinks. Many cakes available too, we didn’t try but they surely looked good. I can only recommend. Very central too.

I was there with a friend of mine tonight and the atmosphere was great, as well as the amazing food and drinks! We had a Hungarian waiter that was really attentive and couldn’t have made better job honestly, very nice staff! Thank you so much!

We were looking for a dinner spot on Saturday for half an hour, as there was an event running in the city and we didn’t have a reservation. Schauspiel was so nice and still accepted walk-in. It was really a highlight and for sure on our insider tips list for the future. Everything from service, through dish quality, quantity and presentation to cleanliness of the toilets was great. Our experience was crowned with short rib served on oven potatoes with coleslaw and tzatziki - all very tender and seasoned precisely. Thank you 🤩
