We visited the August 2021 honey festival for the first time. The town did a wonderful job setting up the entertainment tent and provided lots of activities for the kids. Sadly the chicken seller ran out of french fries early and surprised there was only one vendor selling Honey. You need to get a Honey bee mascot for the kids and more craft and honey vendors. If I was a local I would have gladly helped organize the event. I recommend everyone to attend. Keep it going and and make it better each year. And yes, we did purchase 40 euro of honey 🍯

Beautiful park with the ruins of a once majestic palace that was built as an extension of a castle of the XIIth Century, surrounded by forest, lake and river.

Einen Spaziergang wert!
Falls man auf dem Weg nach Ungarn über die A3 ist, zahlt sich die Abfahrt von der Autobahn für eine Runde im Park auf jeden Fall aus.

Man ist von der Abfahrt Pottendort in einigen Minuten dort, und hat den Park in kurzer Zeit durch (ausser man macht viele Fotos 😉).

Was ich auch sehr positiv finde: Es gibt beim Eingang ein beheiztes und sauberes WC, wo auch das Wasser zum Hände waschen warm ist 😀.

Im Winter echt ein extra Pluspunkt!

Tolle Schlossruine aus dem 11. Jahrhundert. Leider kann man diese nur von Außen besichtigen, aber für tolle Fotomotive top.👍
Auch der Park ist sehr schön und lädt zu einer entspannten Pause ein. Außerdem ist der Park sehr gepflegt und bei Alt und Jung offenbar sehr beliebt.

Hier kann man sehr entspannt Zeit verbingen. Ich war nicht nur von der Schlossruine sondern auch vom Park begeistert. Viele Wege zum Gehen, und Bankerln zum Verweilen.

Super schön dort im Schlosspark, außer zu Führungen kann man nicht rüber auf die Insel aufs Schlossgelände. Aber der ganze Park ist einen Besuch wert. Hunde erlaubt.
