Stoagrubn Hütte

This is a great mountain restaurant with wonderful views. We stopped for lunch to enjoy a wonderful goulash beer and roaring fire. After a wonderful snowfall we arrived back the next morning to have pancakes and the best latte on the mountain at 8.30am. The staff were really friendly and welcomed us back each time. Well worth a visit and lovely clean loos. The outside seating in some areas had heaters overhead which was wonderful to appreciate the awesome views whilst having a beer. Well worth a visit.

Amazing place to eat .The views across the valley a stunning ,don't be put off by the amount of people , its always busy ,you do get served very quickly and the food is of good quality ,and the atmosphere typically Austrian

Class stop off the back of the Hohe Salve, not to be missed

Stayed in the region for a week, so we tried different places near the slopes. This place was by far the coziest and the most friendly. The waiters are very attentive, the service is very fast and our waitress even remembered what we wanted to order maybe later without noting it down. If it is full everything is very efficiently organized, so staying long after you finished is not really possible, but that makes totally sense to me. The food itself is great as well, compared to for example the places on top of Hartkaiser, everything seems a bit more genuine and it is cheaper here, as well (as far as both is possible in a skiing area).
I tried the Spätzle with Broccoli and Mushrooms. These were a bit too wet, for my taste.
I tried the Chicken pieces on potato salad. Great meat, portion huge and everything fresh.
The Schnitzel was amazingly fried and the French fries are good as well.
I tried the oven potato with various fillings and they were all great.
I had the Germknödel and the Kaiserschmarrn for dessert. The Germknödel are nice, because they seem to be cooked for longer, so they are quite soft on the inside. The Kaiserschmarrn was very sweet for my personal taste though.
To summarize: best place to go near the slopes.

Superb place to have coffee or lunch during skiing! Nice staff, good food, don’t have to wait long!

Zamówione desery były bardzo smaczne. Wystrój lokalu sprawiał, że przyjemnie było posiedzieć. Przyjemnie, ciepło.

Echt zoals een Hütte er uit moet zien... De bediening in lederhosen, heerlijk eten en super snelle service (al kan het soms ontzettend druk zijn).

Eine tolle Hütte im Skigebiet, sehr schön und empfehlenswert. Preise sind für eine Skihütte angemessen. Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal.
Die Hütte ist ein muss im Urlaub.

Essen hochpreisig aber gut, dazu ein ansprechendes Ambiente und flinke Bedienungen

Hier stimmt alles, Essen, Service, Ambiente. Ich hatte einen Kaiserschmarrn. Eine absolute Empfehlung.
Meine Begleitung war von der Gulaschsuppe begeistert. Sie wurde als beste Gulaschsuppe in Tirol bezeichnet.
Bitte nicht von den Preisen abschrecken lassen. Qualität hat seinen Preis.
