We found the real chocolate museum in Vienna! Very nice staff, super interesting and informative exhibit, free samples everywhere! There are little films playing on screens that have English subtitles, chocolate fountains, and interactive displays. Great place to bring the kids. 10% off at the store with your ticket as well! Definitely worth the trip!

If you are in Vienna and like chocolate, this is the place to be. Samples everywhere. The tour is in German, but chocolate is in every language. With a guided tour, you get to make your own torte waffer. Chocolate, wafers, topings, and then more chocolate on top of it all.
Chocolate and then more chocolate.

HEINDL is a chocolate lover's paradise. Their exquisite creations, from velvety milk chocolate to decadent dark chocolate, are an absolute delight. The craftsmanship and flavor variety make this factory a must-visit for all chocolate enthusiasts. Pure bliss in every bite!

The most delicious chocolate you can imagine. I don't really like dark chocolate but the one they served here was absolutely extraordinary, and don't get me started on the milk and white chocolates, and the fillings. In the factory/museum ticket all you can eat chocolate is included, and you will have a 10% off from the chocolate gift store, where the prices are already lower than in any other store.

Excellent exhibition, great schoko tasting opportunities. Bought lots of bonbons in the local shop and we had a truly enjoyable time here! Highly recommended :)

Wow!!! We toured the factory with chocolate tasting and making some chocolates as well. Learn about history of the company since inception. Met wonderful staff and the lady at the reception who helped us with English version of the tour and explained how it work. A tip if you are walking around the factory tasting chocolates take a glass of water next to reception as you enter as that will help. There is a factory shop where you get 10% discount on the day of your visit to the museum 😘

Was a real fun 1.5 hrs. Make sure to take the English Tour since less crowded. Go there in a group!

Chocolate museum that is part of Heindl chocolate factory. They have a short film telling about Heindl and process and exhibition showing different ingredients and explaining process of making chocolate.
You can taste liquid chocolate of white, dark and milk type.
They also conduct workshops of chocolate making for children and adults.
There is a factory on the first floor where you can see the process through glass but we could not see that as the production was closed for summer break.
You are offered a few varieties to taste and there is a shop where you can buy it.
If you are visitor to the museum you get some discount on price in the shop.

Overall it was good experience.

Description was in English as well so you don't need to speak German, they offer free samples from the factory (honestly the best part 😅) basically nice educative tour while always eating some chocolate. And the service at the desk was just awesome, kind and helpful. Recommended this.

Had the time of my life here. Tried different kinds of chocolate (3 fountains), solved some quizes, read plenty of interesting facts about chocolate and finally got a discount coupon for the gift shop. The staff is very friendly.

A really fun place that is great for anyone who likes chocolate and sweets in general. It's a great place to take the kids and if you're feeling hungry after the tour you can easily go to the chocolate shop next door!

Yummy. But hidden somewhere on a street, difficult to find it among so many beautiful places in Vienna. Go visit the museum first and the chocolate presentation shop after, because the ticket offers you a discount for the goods if you want to buy some.
