Amazing food with lots of organic meals on the menu. Large portions including free soup, salad and dessert with every main dish between 11 am and 5 pm. And all of this for an unbeatable price. Staff is also nice and fast.

What a nice play to rest and enjoy a nice view of the surrounding. You can admire the citadel on top of the rock! Amazing fortress view! The gas station has the most convenient price in the area. A lot of green grass where you can play with your dog or lay down a bit before to hit the road again. There's also a big restaurant and a big shop with souvenirs, clothes and food.

A very good place to eat good food. They give you a lot of quantity, some times difficult to finish.

The Griffen service station is one of our favourite stopping places in Austria, every time we travel to Italy or Salzburg. Nearby the station, down in the village centre there is a huge rock on top of which there is a beautiful old castle. It sits there so proud, a reminder of the country's glorious past, when the Austro-hungarian Empire ruled this part of Europe. The view from the service station to the castle is astonishingly beautiful. The castle catches your eyes right from the motorway, so it cannot be missed if you travel from Graz to the South West. It is a lovely place for a break, food, drinks are great, too, and the view from the outside terrace is really relaxing to the eye...particularly after a few hours of driving...a spot on place! I highly recommend it if you ever feel like taking a small break from a long driving..

Great food for fine money.

Excellent service , you'll get a 3 course meal for about 13 EUROS and there's much choice. Completely different from rip off at the usual motorway rest stations. Word of advice: wave the desert even though it's inclusive.

Very tasty food, large portions. The price is adequate to the quality (soup - a large bowl for the whole family included in the price of the order and we ordered ravioli and pork with chips, we also got a mix of salads and dessert). Next to it, a large playground for children and a large parking lot. Recommend

Very very very good place for dinner. Dishes are very big. We took some grilled meat mix and we get besides a soup and salad. For two it's more than enough. Prices are also good here.

Very good local food with regional products. Love the idea of helping the area by using them for the menu. Nice restaurant flair, lovely shop ND always a good idea to use as a stop when you are on your way to south of Austria or Italy!

Always busy restaurant with fabulous "schnitzel". If you order a main course, soup, salad and dessert are included in the price. Recommended to try!

Incredible value. Having lunch there is highly recommended. Also great with kids, large and exciting playground (however no fence towards the adjacent corn field). Outdoor and indoor seating with a great view of the surrounding mountains and castle Griffen.
