Good place for easy hiking, the hiking routes are clearly marked. Beautiful forest. But the humidity is really high.

Sufficient parking space for approx 50-100 cars. Visitor center has free maps and can guide you about which trail to hike. Also has a restaurant with a nice terrace.
The hiking trains strangely don't start from the same side of the road as the visitor center, but from the opposite side of the road, i.e. one has to cross the road after parking, in order to explore the hiking trails

Great lady to provide you useful information! A lot of souvenirs, you can also feed the wild cat there and see the exposition about the national park. And after all relax in the garden and have some good drink. A lot of activities for children and posting in front of is free. Nice walking trails to Hardegg and Thaya river!

Nice place, pretty town with old bridge, and castle. Short and long walks and cycle trails. We stayed in a motorhome at the National Park centre which has electric hookup, fresh water supply and water/toilet drain also good play areas for chikdren. Small fee.
