Surely one of the most professional veterinarian clinics in Vienna. My cat Daisy, 15 years old, got sick overnight while we were on vacation, she stopped eating and drinking for days and had a huge bump on her face. The local vet did nothing much, they asked to do like a dozen of exams and did not even bother to give her serum injections to keep her going. We rushed home and brought her to this clinic as an emergency, where she was diagnosed with a face tumor after a couple of exams. The vet team was not sure she would make it since the tumor was not removable (too close to the brain) but they prescribed heavy medication, from antibiotics, to painkillers and increased hunger pills. Turns out, the tumor was not malign and Daisy is very well alive months later. The professionals here do really care about your pets and their well being. This is now my usual vet and I totally recommend it. In terms of bills, they often charge less money than my previous small local vets.

Unser Hund Waka ist Epileptiker. Als wir ihn in die Klinik gebracht haben hat er gekrampft und kam alleine nicht mehr raus. Sie haben ihn dann einige Tage dort behalten und ein neues Medikament verschrieben. Was mir besonders gut gefallen hat, ist dass sie sich wirklich Zeit für ihn und uns genommen haben und uns sehr geduldig in Hinblick auf die verschiedenen Medikamente beraten haben. Worauf bei der Behandlung zu achten ist, was wichtig ist, was vernachlässigt werden kann. Man merkt, dass es hier ein paar Ärzte gibt, die sich wirklich gut mit Epilepsie auskennen und das ist wirklich keine Selbstverständlichkeit! Uns hat man schon alles erzählt und es hat lange gedauert bis wir jemanden gefunden haben der uns wirklich beraten und ihn einstellen konnte. Trotzdem kommt es weiterhin zu Anfällen, aber sie sind seltener geworden. Wenn er jedoch einen Clusteranfall hat der von selbst nicht aufhört bleibt nur der Weg in die Klinik. Und aus Erfahrung weiß ich: Tierklinik ist nicht gleich Tierklinik. Hier haben wir uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Waka bekommt jetzt Pgenoleptil, Levitiracetam und Libromide. Es wurden auch einige Untersuchungen gemacht die aber vorher mit uns abgeklärt waren. Natürlich war alles wirklich teuer. Aber das wäre es überall gewesen und ich muss sagen, dass ich hier die Transparenz schätze und dass man sich die Zeit genommen hat mit uns in Ruhe abzuklären was sinnvoll ist. Denn testen kann man natürlich endlos und alles mögliche. Ich habe auch danach noch öfters angerufen und wurde jedesmal geduldig beraten. Wenn man in unserer Lage, mit einem wirklich schweren Epileptiker ist, sind solche Adressen Gold wert.
