The whole poppy village is lovely. A great getaway from big crowded cities. You can take a ride with a tractor taxi to see the poppy fields and learn some facts about them. Or you can see a movie that is played at 11:00. But definitely make sure to go to the meadow with lounge chairs and have a bite & drink at the poppy farm.

... dort waren wir in den vergangenen Jahren immer wieder... sogar am Wochenende und in der Hauptblütezeit findet man einen Platz auf einem der Parkplätze ... der kleine Mohngarten mit verschiedenen Sorten ist recht gepflegt ... eines der zahlreichen Graumohnfelder findet man "gleich hinter dem Haus" ... man kann sich auch mit dem alten Traktor eine Runde chauffieren lassen... schade dass viele Leute ihre Handyselfies unbedingt mitten im Feld machen müssen und dabei herumtrampeln wie der Elefant im Porzellanladen ... der "Mohnwirt" ist ein freundliches Original ... und wer sich traut, der sollte die Mohnnudeln mit Rum probieren...

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel für die ganze Familie. Beim Mohnwirt Neuwiesinger gibt es eine Vielfalt von Spezialitäten mit Mohn. Von deftig hin bis süss. Auch eine Traktor - Rundfahrt rund um die blühenden Mohnfelder ist für Alt und Jung eine tolle Sache. Man sollte sich aber am besten vorher über die Blütezeit erkundigen.
Es gibt auch noch einen Kinderspielplatz und einen großen Gratis-Parklatz.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier vorbei.Die Mohnblüte ist immer wieder faszinierend. Schön solche Orte in unserem Bundesland zu haben.

Die Mohnblüte muss man mal gesehen haben. Der kleine Ort vermarktet dieses Ereignis gut, es gibt einen Mohnladen, einen Wirt, 2 Standln zur Verköstigung, 1 mit Deko, Mohnquiz, Traktorfahrt zu den Feldern, die man aber auch leicht zu Fuß erreichen kann. Mohnfelder haben wir auch Nähe Ottenschlag gesehen. Am besten einen ausgedehnten Ausflug machen und das schöne Waldviertel genießen.

Die Mohnblüte eine bracht volle Überraschung wenn man ankommt in den Farben rot und weiß. Es gibt Wanderwege rundherum und ein tolles Gasthaus mit verschiedenen Speisen aus Graumohn.

Kleines niedliches Dörfchen, wo man merkt, dass hier die Konzentration auf den Mohnanbau liegt.
Es gibt hier keine besonderen Häuser, aber dafür einiges zu unternehmen.
Ein Lehrpfad über Mohn, Mohnfelder, ein Rundgang um das Dörfchen und einige kleine Läden, wo man rund um den Mohn alles kaufen kann.
Wenn man keine Lust hat zu Fuss zu gehen, kann mit einer Traktor- Kutsche für kleines Geld durch die Gegend fahren.
Es gibt einen schönen Spielplatz. Behinderte Menschen haben extra Parkplätze und der Parkplatz ist kostenlos.
Wer Hunger hat, ist beim Mohnwirt bestens aufgehoben.
Fazit: wenn der Mohn blüht, ist es ein Augenschmaus. Aber auch sonst, lohnt es sich für einen kleinen Ausflug.

Netter kleiner Ort im Waldviertel, berühmt durch seine Mohnfelder und seine Mohnprodukte.

Die blühenden Mohnfelder waren voll schön, wenn man Pflanzen mag, auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert.

Ein kleines Dorf im Waldviertel Armschlag - Mohndorf wo es leckere Mohnzelten und allerlei Produkte aus Grau-Mohn in einem kleinen Souvenir-Laden zum Kaufen gibt. Der Mohnwirt ist mit seinem Speisen-Angebot sehr zu empfehlen. Nach der Stärkung kann man einen schönen Rundgang durch die Mohnfelder machen und den seit 2006 angelegten Mohnpfad bewundern.

Wunderschön nur leider sehr heisst deshalb haben wir keine Wanderung gemacht und waren nur einkaufen
