Steakhaus Schusterhäusl

An excellent restaurant in a 400-year-old wooden house. The food is very tasty and there is even a steak dish for children. The restaurant is also suitable for large groups, we were 14 people and we sat in a beautiful room alone. it was great.

We had little to no expectations as vegetarians coming to a stakehouse, but we were very surprised. The celery stake is to die for and highly recommended to all veggies bit also meat lovers. Excellent service and superb atmosphere. Will visit again!

Very nice restaurant with a charming and rustic Austrian atmosphere. Steaks are terrificly good and the fish is also quite perfect. The prices are also very reasonable. Would recommend 100% to anyone who likes steaks and classic western cuisine.

It's a cozy place. The service is friendly. The prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants in the village, but worth it.

Very good food and 5 stars service!

So glad we discovered this place almost ten years ago - coming back every year since. It's also a lot of fun seeing the menu evolve - now featuring quite a few vegan options.

Haven't tried any of those yet though, because for me the steaks are just too good to pass on. Combined with the always friendly staff, perfect service and good drinks, a wonderful evening every single year.

A perfect culinary experience. The old house is amazing, with wood floor, walls and old shoes decorations. The stuff is super kind and professional and the food....the food is absolutely delicious. A proper steak house.

The tenderloin is really good, worth the money! Service is incredibly fast.

Every time ai visit this restaurant I get an awesome experience. You might think that you tried great steaks, but then you go to Flachau and spend a dinner in the Schuster…priceless. Best steak ever and outstanding service.

Good food

Very good steaks. If they should improve it would be on the potatoes and vegetables, they are average. The atmosphere is good and relaxed. Prices are from 30 to 99 euro depending on what meat you order.

Had a wonderful experience with my family. We were 8, and there was a consensus that the food, service, and atmosphere were above expectations.
The food was very precise, service was great.
Recommended for special occasions, since it is a bit pricey in comparison to regular Austrian restaurants in the area.
