Wander-Hotel Rauriserhof

This family run hotel is absolutely fabulous. The facilities are wonderful including indoor and outdoor pools and tennis courts, spa, gym, kids play areas etc. The staff are very friendly and brilliant at their jobs. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. Value for money was exceptional. Can’t wait go back next year. Very highly recommended

A wonderful hotel in a charming ski town. We have stayed at the Rauriserhof twice now and both times were excellent. The staff are brilliant and can’t do enough for you. The food is delicious and plentiful. The outdoor swimming pool is a delights and the spa facilities top class. Can’t relate this place highly enough

Great hotel with close proximity to the chairlift, you can ski across to the either slopes via a blue run. Bus stops right outside the hotel which is free to use and runs every 30 mins doing a loop around the town to the ski lifts. Lots of activities run by the hotel to join and especially liked the snow shoe walk with Ina. Great service especially from our Hungarian waiter "Mate" I think he was called! He made the evening dinners really nice. The wellness areas are awesome and so is the food, both breakfast and dinner are awesome and it's made are regular food at home seem so boring now which is the only downside! Recommend the sauna sessions with Christian, he's a really friendly knowledgeable guy! I'd come back again, the room was very dull, maybe we got the worst room in the hotel with no balcony and outdated but I'm sure they are renovating them, the others looked good though. Would have liked more information on what activities were happening and a tour around the hotel to know where everything is in the spa etc but was easy enough to work out. I look forward to coming back!

The Rauriserhof is the top hotel in the beautiful village of Rauris. Rooms are spacious and cosy with amazing views of the mountains. The bar is lovely and welcoming. The gym has been redone over the last couple of years and now is excellent with lots of equipment for cardio plus weight machines and free weights. The main swimming pool is superb, but the real highlight, especially in winter, is the outdoor pool, which is 30 degrees and can be enjoyed whilst snowing. Food is amazing, and the staff are superb. Truly an amazing hotel in an incredible place. Do yourself a favour and spend a week here.

This hotel is truly wonderful. Full of traditional Austrian charm, high standards but with modern facilities in abundance.

Their website sells them short - the food is sublime, the facilities are wonderful (including a huge kids play room), the pool is lovely and of course the staff are excellent.

Staff were lovely and accommodating! High quality food and not too expensive, had a fantastic night there even though we didn't book, would definitely book next time to ensure a place. Menu is slightly limited.

Best hotel in Rauris

Wir sind den ersten Tag hier und total begeistert. Tolles Hotel. Super viel Platz für die Kinder. Nähe Sessellift. Super nettes Personal, leckeres Essen. Kinderfreundlich. Großer Skistall. Schöne Lage und Ort. Einzig der Innenpool könnte etwas wärmer sein. Die neu renovierten Zimmer sind auch echt wunderbar geworden. Fazit - alles was das Herz begehrt für einen wundervollen Urlaub

Sehr gutes Hotel, das wir jedes Jahr in der Skisaison buchen. Es wir jedem Gast etwas passendes angeboten. Toller Service, Top-Restaurant, sehr nettes Personal. Wer eine nette Atmosphäre, sehr ausgesuchte Küche und Abende am Kamin mit einem guten Drink mag, ist hier auf jedem Fall gut aufgehoben. Nicht billig aber des Geldes wert.

Wir waren im Rauriserhof für einen Familien Winterurlaub mit Kind und Großeltern und haben uns sehr gut erholt. Das Abendessen war vorzüglich und mit hochwertigen Zutaten. Frühstück sehr große Auswahl und super Omelett. Die Jause war auch immer lecker, die Süßspeisen könnten aber mehr Abwechslung vertragen. Die Besitzer und das Personal waren sehr herzlich, vor allem im Restaurant und an der morgentlichen Kochstation. Der Dame an der Rezeption hat leider diese Herzlichkeit etwas gefehlt, bei unserer Abreise wurden wir nicht gefragt, wie es uns gefallen hat und keine gute Heimreise gewünscht - schade, hier wäre mehr drin gewesen. Der Wellnessbereich ist klein aber fein, mit tollem Blick in die Berge. Die Pools könnten gerne 2 Grad wärmer sein. Die Lage ist zum Skifahren sehr gut. Entweder man läuft 5 Minuten zum Lift, oder der Skibus startet direkt vor der Tür. Die Zimmer waren gut und sauber, etwas mehr Stauraum wäre wünschenswert. Zusammengefasst: Eine absolute Empfehlung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Dieses gut geführte Haus liegt in einer wunderbaren Gegend, am Ortseingang von Rauris. Schon beim Empfang fühlte man die Herzlichkeit, die in diesem Haus herrscht. Das sehr saubere Zimmer im Altbau bot einen angenehmen, erholsamen Schlafcomfort. In der Küche wurden mit hochwertigen Produkten wohl schmeckende und optisch schön angerichtete Menüs kreiert, die von sehr aufmerksamen und angenehm freundlichen Servicekräften aufgetischt wurden. Nach einer Wanderung in den Bergen konnte man im großzügigen, sehr gepflegten Wellnessbereich schnell wieder Frische und Erholung finden. Zusammengefasst: In diesem Haus stimmt die Preis-Leistung im Besonderen, auch ein Grund wieder zukommen. Für unseren ersten Aufenthalt ein Volltreffer!
