Edelrautehütte

Stayed for 3 days in February. Kind staff, lovely athmosphere, tasty food. The rooms are a bit packed, but all in all it is a lovely place.

We spent two nights here and it was perfect. Very attentive and friendly service and nice facilities. There is a nice skitour trip to Grosser Bossenstein in the area. I definitely recommend the accommodation and the food!

I visited many chalets in Alps, Edelrautehütte is one the best, considering location near beautiful lakes, service and rooms. It's suitable for families, as parking is only 5 minutes of walk. Personell is very friendly and attentive, meals are very good as well as breakfast buffet. We slept in old lager room, which is a renovated shared bedroom, spacey and well equiped with enough room for everyone with their belongings. Prices went up, just like everywhere, but it's up to you how much you're going to consume, or just sleep for cheap (OEAV members).

A perfect spot to experience Austrian mountains. A nice ride up on a great gravel road. If you want to stay for the night you may ride straight up to the inn while day guests have to hike the last 800 m.You may want to call in advance to check that out. Nice rooms, excellent food and great hospitality. You can go trout fishing in their lake or make several hikes from there.

If you are in to hiking, then you have to visit this place and enjoying beautiful hiking around. The owner of the cottage is very nice and helpful.

We went just for the sledging, but we had also a excelent dinner, a very good Wild Gulasch. And the sledge rent, and sledging way were totally worth it.

Delicious food, helpful stuff. In winter you can rent a set of snowshoues and sledges to slide down all the way from the hütte.

The food was good. Friendly service. Nice terrasse with a view. A bit crowded.

The views and atmosphere is out of this world. Well worth the visit. Family run with very friendly staff.
