Knappaboda Appart Hotel

Our recent stay at Knappaboda Hotel in Lech, Austria was absolutely fantastic—we'd easily rate it 5 stars. The hotel's recent renovation brought a modern touch to the Alpine charm, evident in the well-designed rooms with high-quality finishes. Notably, the rooms were equipped with a modern kitchen, a convenient perk for our stay. Furthermore, it is very conveniently located at a calm spot only a 2-minute walk from the ski lift.

The highlight was the relaxing spa, offering three different saunas—a perfect way to unwind after a day of skiing. However, what truly made our experience outstanding was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, always ready to cater to our needs, making us feel right at home.

In short, Knappaboda Hotel seamlessly blends luxury and coziness. With beautifully designed rooms, a rejuvenating spa, and top-notch service, it surpassed our expectations. It's a spot we'd eagerly revisit and enthusiastically recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Lech, Austria.

Knappaboda is an excellent choice for a family vacation as it is located directly on the slopes. This makes it the ideal place to get out on the snow quickly and come home easily at the end of the day.
In addition to its location, Knappaboda impresses with a fine sense of tasteful and cosy luxury interiors and spacious apartments in which all family members can easily settle in.
Last but not least, the Walch family are probably the best hosts you can imagine.
From our arrival at the beautiful Knappaboda Appart Hotel to our departure, the Walch family did everything to make our stay just perfect.
It is a spot we will revisit and highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Lech, Austria.

This is absolutely the best place to stay in Lech if you don't want to be in a hotel. Great design, very nice setting, very close to everything yet just the sound of the river from the room. Wonderful family who takes care of you.

We had the best stay at Knappaboda Appart Hotel. The apartments are beautiful and have everything you need, delicious bread can be delivered to your door everyday. The beds and interior are to die for! The family that runs the place is very kind and helpful. Their service is simply exceptional. After a long day of being outside you can relax at the wellness.

Excellent choice for a family vacation. A Family run hotel in the beautiful place, 10 min walking distance to the ski lifts. Very friendly and client oriented staff make you feel home from the moment you enter their doors. The rooms are very well maintained: new furniture and kitchen appliances, spotlessly clean. During the ski season the price is pretty high but worth every penny. You understand what you’re paying for.
I do plan to return next winter.

A MARVELLOUS EXPERIENCE
We stayed at Knappaboda for a long ski weekend in Lech, which we will never forget.

The aparthotel has recently been renovated with exquisite taste —all rooms and the entry hall are beautifully furnished with designer furniture and accessories. Everything is spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable. The rooms are equipped with kitchen and bathroom essentials from excellent local brands.

The location of Knappaboda is conveniently located meters away from nice restaurants, stores, ski rental stores, and the ski lift. You can literally leave the place with your skis on!

Last but not least, family Walch, who run the place, are incredibly sweet, helpful, accommodating, generous, and very easy to communicate with.

I won’t stop recommending this place to all our friends and relatives. We will definitely come back!

THE MOST AMAZING STAY DURING OUR SKI TRIP

Knappaboda exceeded our high expectations, we had a truly luxurious experience. Family Walch who run this gorgeous boutique aparthotel go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home.

The apartments are big, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with spectacular views, and all essentials for kitchen and bathroom are provided. The hotel is in the centre of Lech, very close to the ski lifts, ski shops, restaurants, and stores.

This has been our first visit, but it will definitely not be the last one!

From the moment we arrived at the wonderful Knappaboda Appart Hotel, until the day we left, the Walch family did everything to ensure a perfect stay. This place is exceptional!

Their service and attention to detail was simply outstanding - they simply went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful.

The design of the appartments is world class - every last detail has been thought about to deliver a dream like experience.

It is a perfect concept for the best holiday. Stay in? We found out what's not to love in the Appartments, spacious, loads of room to relax, chill & cook when we felt like it, and also go out when we want (+ the supermarket is just 2 minutes away!). We found it perfect for adults & kids (they love kids!), but at the same time peaceful.

In summary we found the atmosphere & decoration beautiful, relaxing & welcoming - and Gertrud & Conny are the perfect hosts.

And, finally, located just next to the slopes makes it the ideal location to go out on the snow quickly and get home with total ease at the end of the day.

First class hotel service with fantastic apartments and sauna!

Great accommodations, owners couldn't be more helpful and nice - ski passes, dinner reservations, etc.

Wir haben uns zu 3t zum Saisonende noch ein paar Tage in Lech gegönnt und haben uns für das Knappaboda entschieden. Ein Apart Hotel, das seinem Namen zu 110% gerecht wird, die Freiheit durch das Appartement und ein tägliches Reinigungsservice von sehr freundlichem Servicepersonal wie im Hotel. Wir hatten das Gefühl, wir sind ZUHAUSE. Es fühlt sich nicht wie ein Appartement an, sondern wie eine Wohnung. Alles mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, es sieht live genauso aus wie auf der Website. Überraschungen? Ja, nur positive :-) Die Gastgeberinnen sind total nett und betreuen die Gäste persönlich, man nimmt sich immer Zeit für ein nettes Plauscherl. Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt, unbedingte 100% Weiterempfehlung - ein Urlaub mit Wohlfühlgarantie! Danke an Gertrud & Conny für die tollen Aufenthalt.

Wir waren im September einige Tage mit der Familie im Knappaboda. Das Appartement hat uns begeistert. Sehr durchdachte Raumaufteilung und trotzdem großzügig. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts offen - funktional und top Design. Die Lage ist super und von den Zimmern hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die umwerfenden Berge rundum.
Die Familie hat uns herzlichst begrüßt und wir haben uns während unserem Aufenthalt super aufgehoben gefühlt. Der tägliche Zimmerservice war uns wichtig und die Auswahl zur Frühstücksbestellung war reichhaltig und praktisch (Lieferung vor die Appartement-Tür).

Ein grossartiges Haus mit ganz tollen, neuen Appartements! Man fühlt sich vom ersten bis zum letzten Urlaubstag pudelwohl, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage in Lech ist hervorragend, die Wege zum Einkauf, zu den Liften und Restaurants sind kurz. Der hoteleigene Wellness-Bereich bietet eine tolle Erholung nach dem Wandern oder Schifahren. In der Haus-Bar kann man das eine oder andere Schmankerl finden. Wir können dieses Haus jedem empfehlen der sich in Lech während seiner Ferien wie zuhause fühlen möchte! Wir haben eine wirklich tolle Woche in Lech verbracht. Bei dieser tollen Gastgeberfamilie fühlt man sich sofort wohl und man wird rundum versorgt. Die Apartments wurden neu renoviert. Der Skilift ist in nur 10min erreichbar. Ein paar Schritte entfernt befindet sich ein Supermarkt und eine Bäckerrei. Täglich frisches Gebäck inklusive und ein vollgepackter Frühstückskorb wartet bereits bei der Anreise am Zimmer.

Absolut traumhaft. Die Appartements sind wunderschön und kommen mit gratis Snacks und anderen Lebensmitteln. Falls man doch noch was anderes braucht befindet sich ein Supermarkt mit allem was man sich nur vorstellen kann nur wenige Meter entfernt. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich, läuft mit ihren Kindern umher. Man bekommt sogar einen Skipass inklusive, mit dem man auch die Türen öffnen kann. Der Service ist makellos, räumt sogar für einen auf, macht die Betten und füllt alles erneut auf. Auch das Internet ist schnell. Ich bin absolut begeistert. Auch für Jugendliche (bin 17) wunderbar. Bei der Lobby befindet sich auch noch ein kleiner Laden und ein Wellnessbereich mit Spa, Sauna und allem drum und dran. Es gibt sogar einen Waschraum mit Trockner, sowie einen eigenen Skikeller (makellos), das Auto wird für einen geparkt. Nur empfehlenswert!
