Great views, lovely walks

Gorgeous cable ride to a beautiful view of the valley. It's a little expensive (9~€ per ride and 5€ parking). But it's quite worth it!

Don't take the cable ride down, just go down the beautiful mountain paths.

Restaurant on the top is very good and the staff is quite friendly! They do speak a little bit of English and have English menu's ready.

If you visit Dornbirn or Bregenz and you are interested to spend half a day or more in a very beautiful place, you meed to visit Dornbirn Cable Car! You can reach there with your car or with the public transportation (local Buses). If you want to reach the peak by walk, it takes 2 hours but you will enjoy the nature at its highest level! But if you are not willing to walk the elevation, you can buy the tickets (€15 go and the return) and you will take the top in less than 5 minutes! There are 2 restaurants with the amazing view! The staff are so friendly and the food quality is not bad! The prices are little bit hight respect to the quality but you are paying for the view! There is a glass spot where you can have the panorama view which is the best part! It worths to visit at least once! Highly recommended!

Karren cable car ride is one of the coolest ride you will ever take as it overlooks at 3 different countries from the top. It gives an impeccable view of the valley and also a panoramic view overlooking Austria, Lake Constance and parts of Germany and Switzerland mountains. The car ride takes you to the top of Karren mountain at an altitude of 976 meters. It only takes 5 mins to reach the peak and to enjoy an unobstructed view. There are 2 tariffs available: Day and Evening, so you can choose to visit during the day or enjoy the view under the night sky. There is also a restaurant on top to savor meals while enjoying the view. Its totally worth visiting this place.

The view is just wow, it feels safe too.
It's fast to get there I think between 5-3 min. There is a path to walk too for the people who are a little bit afraid. It's about 1-1:30 hour to walk up, and ca.45 min to walk down. There is also a restaurant on the top, and rest rooms.

If you are near this location, visit is well worth of time spent here. Great view, photo point and terace.

It’s an easy way to get to the top of the mountain to see the whole city of Dornbirn and Bodensee. The ride lasted for about 5 min, max and it felt very safe.

Such a fantastic view, loved every second up there and the restaurant was traditional and welcoming

If only for a drink or food go up and down. For hiking I suggest to go first the canion up to the cable car/restaurant and then take the cable car downwards as the road is rather steep.

The "Karren" is the starting and ending point for numerous hikes.

Both families and ambitious hikers🥾 get their win out of it.

The nature🌿 is incredible and if the weather is good, the view from top is nothing but breathtaking.

Absolutely breathtaking! Great lunch at Panorama. A must see while in Dornbirn.

You can enjoy such a wonderful view of the city below as well as the Bodensee lake while having a meal or snacks .... or you can also go hiking

Excellent view in to the landscape you can use the cable car, but if you want to do something for your health you should do hiking or both🙂hiking it's about one and a half hour(one way)

I can only recommend the mountain railway in Dornbirn. Modern and safe. Fun for those who have vertigo.

We went here during winter time so it was astonished because of the sea clouds. I want to go back again.

Amazing views of the entire Dornbirn city as well as the surrounding mountains and the nearby lake. Went during the winter and the snow capped mountains were stunning.
