Zoo Schmiding / Museum - meeting of cultures

The museum is impressive. Very informative and nice designed. You can travel trough the human evolution until to the future. The zoo itself is quite good but could be have more space for the animals as well as could be more cleaner. There are also some different playgrounds for the kids and in the middle there is a trampolin with a small restaurant.

The zoo and museum are both nice to see and perfect for family trip. The best experience is when you enjoy both of the with combine tickets. The museum is huge and a lot informations to digest. Interesting for your children.

The new exhibits at the Aqua Zoo are amazing! There is more than just the animals to look at. There is also a lot of history and artifacts from ancient cultures. The traditional zoo never fails to keep you entertained with the variety of animals and exhibits. When you or your little ones need a break, there are plenty of play areas and refreshments!

This is an excellent zoo! It has tons of play areas and just generally a great layout to explore. There is a wonderful assortment of animals in huge, beautifully clean and organized enclosures. The aquarium and museum areas were a very special surprise! We were blown away by the evolution exhibits, because we hadn't expected them at all. Keep in mind this is out in, sort of, the middle of nowhere. In an area that isn't so densely populated. So to find such a great zoo and museum of that size and quality was a delightful surprise. I really recommend it.

I had a great day with my son. Very inexpensive (especially compared to the water park). The animals looked well kept and the museum was nicely done. There was little in english, which made things nice as there is so much to read. The playgrounds were plentiful and excellent. My son loved the playgrounds immensely. I recommend everyone go as there were not many people there and I’m afraid for the zoo’s financial health.

Nice Zoo with giraffes, gorillas, tigers, rhinos, cheetah, zebras... as the highlight. One of the biggest in upper austria.
The way is pebble so not very easy for strollers but the zoo is always full with parents and strollers so not a problem. The restaurant there is also a good place with more options than just fries.

Nice place! Totally recommend to go there with or without children.

Combi-ticket is amazing value. Like visiting many attraction at the same time. Great place to spend the day.

Many different animals, which you can see very close. Also very nice for children. For this the entrance fee is very fair.
