Hotel Salnerhof

One of the best hotels to stay when visiting Ischgl. The moment you walk in you feel very welcomed. It's a family business so you don't feel like 'just another guest'. I've stayed in two different room types and both were absolutely fine. Note that if you sleep on the front side you will hear alot of apres ski/clubbing people walking past and if you book the back side you may hear some traffic. The only thing I couldn't get used to both years was the absurd high room temperatures. We had to sleep with the heating turned off and windows open. But as I said earlier when you open the window you will heat noise from outside. The kitchen is absolutely amazing. 4 choices for main course that change everyday. Our Sommelier Ivan was such a nice host. Every morning and night he did his best to meet our needs. Genuinely friendly bloke. The speed and attention all staff have is incredible here. The wellness is exactly what it be. Not too massive but enough attributes to relax. The pool isn't the biggest but you can swim a few strokes, relax your body after a long day of skiing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Salnerhof.🙂The staff were wonderful and super professional with a heathly portion of fun. We would like to thank René our Bergfüher, who made our Smugglers excursion so much fun and for his patience in explaining other tours to us...😇the Berglisee was indeed an unfogettable and unique experience.😆The food was excellent and was presented with a modern touch, highlighting the Head Chef's passion for food and the culinary expertise of his brigade...Renate and I would like to say a massive thank you to Florian at the bar and to Hrvoje, Michal and Letitia in the Fine dining Restaurant for their wonderful service and attention during breakfast and dinner during our stay. The Salnerhof is truly an exceptional hotel that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the attentive staff. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The food served at the hotel's restaurant was nothing short of amazing, with a wide range of delicious dishes to choose from. The spa facilities are also top-notch, providing a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of skiing.

Overall, my stay at the Salnerhof was a truly unforgettable experience. The hotel's attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a memorable stay for its guests is truly commendable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ischgl.

We were very happy there the service was amazing rooms even tidied during diner with new bath towels etc. The food was excellent a lot of choices and plenty, if not to much. The staff was friendly and forthcoming. Only improvement point could be a larger sauna. But the overall performance and value for money was excellent.

Salnerhof exceeded our expectations. Super friendly staff. Delicious dinner. We were hesitant to add the dinner option in our reservation, and we were fortunate to add the dinner. We enjoyed the dinner options everyday and the service was topnotch. Definitely we are coming back in our future vacations. The only thing we didn't like is the shared balcony. Since we were visiting Austria for the first time, we were surprised to see a shared balcony. However, if you want a private balcony, make sure to book room/suite in the highest floor that has a private balcony.

We sat on the sun terrace. Nice seats, good food, friendly service and best views in Ischgl. Kitchen is traditional Austrian done well. Only minuses would be that it fills up quickly and it’s close to the main road. But on the plus side the ski bus stop is at 50 m and there’s a parking right across the street for guests. The hotel itself looked super too. Highly recommended

An extraordinarily good restaurant - fantastic food, great service!
In my opinion, they serve the most delicious soups, Flammkuchen and Kaiserschmarren in the area!

Engaged staffing, rich breakfast including off buffet choices as omelette and porridge.
Half board includes also a 6-7 course dinner with 4 choices for mains.
3 min walk to the mountain cable car and even less skiing in.

We were here for our final evening and it didn’t disappoint. Food quality was excellent. They book up, so worth ringing in advance to see if you can reserve a table. They were only accepting bookings 2 days in advance when we were there.

Amazing staff, amazing food, breakfast buffet was very nice and the dinners were really really good. Can only recommend this place. Rooms were nice, spacious and very clean. A place to stay in Ischgl. I will be back !

Salnerhof is widely known for their good food, they really live up to it. Every day that I stayed at this hotel I was looking forward to the dinner. The wellness center is average. There was only one thing that I didn't like about the rooms, and that was the beds, they were very hard, instead of small planks under the mattrasses, it was just one big plank, but this could be something personaly. Although I must say that the hotel immediately solved the problem for me by putting an extra cover over the mattresses, when I told them about it.
It was an unforgettable week! Their hotel soap's smell really good and we also received a small bag of gifts at the takeoff. I will surely miss the radio while taking a shower ;)

(Restaurant review) Fantastic service along with first-class Austrian cuisine. At time of writing, the Salnerhof restaurant was rated #1 in Ischgl and you can really see why. The waiters know what to recommend from wine and schnapps to their specialities and the atmosphere was great. Worth every penny.

Excellent restaurant with very friendly and professional staff. It's usually always full so I recommend booking the table in advance. Also there was live music all night. Food was amazing and prices are fair for what you get, we paid around 240€ for 5 people.

Summer holiday as a couple. In a nutshell, very satisfied with our one-week stay.

Great:
+ Food is awesome, and very artistically presented. One of the best restaurants in Ischgl. 3/4 halfboard kept us very happy.
+ Premium room was always clean, and had a lovely design.
+ Helpful staff, nice spa, and all-inclusive Slivretta card with access to many cable cars and scenic road.

Not so great:
- wifi quality was average.
- no lounge area, only restaurant/bar (but that’s very personal thing for me). SPA gets crowded sometimes.
- garage entry/parking may be a difficult experience if big car or high season.

Really nice service and very clear rooms. The cleaning lady always puts chocolates on the bed after cleaning the room. 200+ channels, including English, French, Spanish, Russian and more. Good access to the ski room and ski room itself is very comfortable and useful, with multiple movable ski stands and schoe dryer. Breakfast has a lot of food to choose, starting from cheese, fresh fruits, fried eggs, omelet and ending with honey slots with honey in it (pretty rare to see). Dinner have menu to choose from, containing starter, soup, salat, dessert, and 3-4 main dishes to choose from. It is served in the order and it is changed regularly. (You can skip any of them). Also, Salnerhof hotel features free underground parking, sauna, swimming pool, bar and free WIFI. The WIFI connection itself is not very good, but it is enought for usual things in internet and downloading. In conclusion I can say that it is a perfect hotel to stay in Ischgl, while skiing or just relaxing. See you later!

The restaurant is fantastic, really good meat and they master the cooking point. Old school service that take care of you the whole time. I will repeat for sure!

Very nice hotel with a good restaurant. The food was always very good and the rooms where clean. Near to the village and the cable car (great for skiing + snowboarding).

We had dinner in our visit to Ischgl, great food, good service at a reasonable price. Highly recommended :)
