Kunsthaus Graz

Interesting building and exhibition space. I loved the shop (great selection of books, gadgets etc ) and the café/restaurant. If you are in Gtaz you shouldn't miss it.

The Kunsthaus Graz is a cool and funky museum with a great collection of modern art. It's also a great place to take photos, especially of the weird and wonderful architecture.

A very nice building, inside we see large exhibition areas. Interesting contemporary artists. Perfect for adults who are into the arts! This museum is also suitable for children, but learn that the exhibitions are designed for adults and they are not easy for children to understand. But this was carefully foreseen and made for children a playful conceptual room in which there are stencils and puppets.

A real highlight of my trip to Graz. Even the building itself is an exciting piece of art.

I would recommend this to anyone who is in the area.

It was a nice Sunday afternoon spending time for looking at the art in this museum.

A stunning building, a must-see when visiting Graz. If you climb the hill, you will get the bonus of seeing the building from above, which makes it even more stunning. And if you do it when dark, you will see the dynamic lighting of the building, which makes it look like something out of this world! ❤

Great museum with interesting exhibitions. On ground floor there is cafe and on -1 there are lockers and toilets. People working there are kind and helpful.

It's such a striking exterior when walking in old school Graz, this building calls you in. Unlike the ill-fated blimp I seem to attach to the shape, this space lands with grace and style! The interior is an experience in Austrian cool, with trendy, sometimes quirky, style. The coffee shop next door is great for a long or brief drink and eat, then shop!

There are ofcourse some great exihibits but there is aldo a cool shop,a caffe bar,a place to put your stuff and a room where you can draw something.Also,children can get into the museum for free.

Secret tips.

#1 the restaurant has affordable prices and is good; free tap water at disposal; it could be noisy

#2 Sundays at 2 p.m. there usually there is a guide tour in English; we were explained all the history of the building; the two exhibitions were mainly left for self exploration

#3 look for the "hof yard" door to enter the back of the building

#4 at the minute 50 of every hour the "friendly alien" makes an increasing sound (more audible in the needle); when the sun sets the bubble is illuminated

#5 there is a nozzle different from the other ones

#6 there is no permanent exhibition; exhibitions change about every 3-4 months

Great architecture interpolation in centre of old cntre of Graz. One of the top locations you must to see in graz, opposite of legendary slochberg castle. If you te lucky you ll find intersting exibition, such as Congostars at the end of 2018. Yes, you have souvenir shop with really fair prices and reaotourant as a part of gallery

We were there with our son and a friend,the exhibition was interesting,but more interesting was the creative area,1st floor. The kids could build with some Kapla wooden pieces,make some collage...very nice

I spent a wonderful 2 hours in the cafe here with a lovely person. The food was great and the dirty chai as well. Cheers :)

The post-modernist building is worth a visit in itself. Take the time to explore the interior and also walk around it to see how it relates to the surrounding built environment. There is a nice bookshop and a pleasant cafeteria.

Architecturally, the Kunsthaus is a thing of beauty - a work of art. Inside is equally impressive. The exhibitions are nicely curated. 'Camera Austria' is currently displayed.

It is really great place to explore. You can try the deliciousl food and the nice ambiance of Kunsthaus Cafe and on the other hand there is a shop filled with lots of exciting stuffs! Specially if you admire art and creativity this is a place for you. Happy exploring. :)

Great place. Only one exhibition on so the price was reduced. It was right up my street though! Fab building with great view from 4th floor. Most of the staff seemed to speak English which was great too
