Bodega Ruca Malen is an incredible experience. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. My wife and I were visiting Mendoza from New York City, and we dropped in (no reservation!) for a 7-course lunch with wine pairings. Let me tell you, it was one of the best meals we have EVER had. Each course of the meal was exquisite, and the chef's choices were unique, well-prepared, and incredibly flavorful. We had 5 different wines (whites and reds), and each wine was lovely and perfectly paired with each course. Our server and sommelier were highly attentive, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept our wine glasses full throughout the nearly 3 hour meal. In addition, the bodega is located inside a sprawling and gorgeous vineyard, with the Andes mountains in the background. Much of the staff spoke both English and Spanish. If you are in Lujan de Cuyo, you absolutely must stop by for lunch. You will be talking about this meal for days. If I lived in the region, I would come here at least once a month!

Wonderful 7-course menu in a splendid setting and top-level attention from their lovely staff. The wines were very good too. We'll come back!

Diana is precious! Such wonderful hospitality and very knowledgeable. We gave her tips about American wineries (California, Oregon, Washington, Finger Lakes region). She was so enthusiastic and inquisitive as were we about this area and history. Unfortunately we visited on Sovereignty Day and missed the restaurant being opened. However, very nice tour and tasting. Absolutely gorgeous property. The wine? Wow! Beautiful petit verdot and Cabernet franc. I have not personally had an Argentinian Pinot noir but I am now a huge fan. Thank you so much for a fun, beautiful, professional experience.

Couldn't ask for much more here. Great service, great wine pairings, amazing ambiance. Because it wasn't too hot, I sat outside watching the clouds roll over the Andes during the dining experience. 2 of the courses that preceeded the main courses were a tad underwhelming. I loved the shrimp dish, and the main dish (beef) was a slam dunk. Overall, superb. My only critique: there were essentially 3 small desserts served...I think it would have been very cool if one of them was a local cheese offering.

Stopped by first thing in the morning with no reservation - Diana greeted us at the door and was an excellent host. We had the Centenario and took one home - excellent wine and value.

Would have loved to take more but needed to manage luggage capacity and shipping wasn’t an option.

Stop by - I think they prefer reservations - but worth the stop!

What a wonderful woman ran winery !
Our first stop during our Mendoza Winery tour. Our host Diana was personable and gave us an amazing tour. We arrived a little last due to a flight delay and the winery was so accommodating. We toured the winery and learned about production and then headed to the tasting room. We chose the luxe tasting of 4 wines. The tasting came with cheeses , nuts and crackers with a side of stunning views. The Petit Verdot stole the show in my opinion but all the wines are well made and delicious.
I highl recommend a visit to this winery.

We went there without a booking to see the property. Unlike many wineries that didn’t let us in without booking, not only they welcome us but also offered us a glass of wine, which was fantastic. The place is stunning and the staff super friendly. We bought several bottles of Malbec.

Superb food and wine and all in all, a great way to spend an afternoon just outside of Mendoza. It's a little bit far out of the city, but certainly worth the visit for the experience and the high quality service, food and wine. Many thanks to our hosts - we'll be sure to recommend you to our friends.

Jaw-dropping scenery, superb choices of chef designed menu and of course high quality wines... The chef creates dishes out of this world using organic ingredients from their own garden... don't miss this spot next time you are in Mendoza. Enjoy lunch any day of the year.

Amazing wine and 5 course lunch. Great value and memorable experience. The filet was one of the best steaks we had in our 3 weeks in Argentina...it’s served sizzling with butter and spices on top. The wine was top notch...we purchased multiple Malbecs and enjoyed them later in our trip. A great value overall in a wonderful setting.

A very nice tasting lunch with pairings. Reasonably priced and the setting is lush. They kept serving us wine until our cab came which was enjoyable.

One of the best eating experiences you may ever have. The location is close to the Andes range with an idilic view. The food is perfectly paired to the different wines. We started with an excellent Chardonnay. We followed with a young Malbec evolving to full bodied Malbecs and Cab Souvignons. The wines and food were explained by the chef and sommelier. Don't miss it if you go to Mendoza.

Food was delicious, as the wine. Too much food for me, but I don't eat much so can't complain. I guess some people prefer Fuller plates. Would recommend to anyone who loves wine, and enjoys fresh local cuisine
