Excellent customer service and incredibly helpful. Really made the trip to Salta manageable and worthwhile. Will recommend to friends traveling to the region. The car was in good working order and clean. Perhaps not the best on a winding mountain road, but it suited our needs .

Great customer service! Jose and Rodrigo were very cordial and professional at the same time. Jose gave me a lot of info on where to go and what times were the safest to drive on the mountains. The car was clean and performed very well for being and economic choice.

We called them a few days before we landed at the airport and reserved a car with them via the phone. The price was more economical directly with Sixt than through third party websites like Booking or Kayak. We got an automatic transmission car for three days and it ran smoothly. We did all the popular routes in Salta and Jujuy without any problems. If you drive automatic, I recommend booking early because most cars in Argentina are standard transmission. If you have a foreign passport and foreign driver’s license, you can pay in cash. Otherwise, you would need to pay in card. Overall, Julio and Juan helped us with everything car-related and even travel-related. Wonderful experience. All their cars are under 60,000 kilometers. I recommend them!

Very nice car renting agency. At first i was able to rent having a debit (not credit) card, UK Lloyds had worked, while Monzo hadn’t. Though it’s still risky, they do require credit as well as all other agencies around. Then Federico is very gentle and easy to speak with, he has good English what is a really rare case in the area. He also explained where and what interesting is. Fortunately I had no any issues neither with the car nor with agency and the experience was as smooth as possible

Even if I wanted to I could not have imagined a better service than Sixt Salta! WOW! From quick responses, to impeccable customer service, to smooth and quick pick-up and drop-off. Federico was our contact person when we rented our car for 8 days from Salta Airport in December 2023. As soon as we booked our SUV online (pretty last minute I must admit), he quickly helped us getting permits to cross border to Chile, spent time with us to explain in his perfect English the intricacies of traveling in the region, money exchange and other nuances. I highly recommend Sixt Salta!

Car rental agencies are known for being untrustworthy, but Sixt is the complete opposite of untrustworthy. They went above and beyond to provide good customer service and are very honest people.

Juan and Federico helped me on separate occasions. I rented a vehicle one weekend to visit the vineyards in Cafayate, then the next weekend to visit Salinas Grandes, Purmamarca, and the rest of Jujuy.
