In a whirlwind of impressions! Two week around Angola trip for our group of 11 people went so bright, interesting, comfortable and so quick! Many thanks to this professional team who organised the trip at a very good level (hotels, cars, food, excursions, tents in tribes and etc.) and took care about everyone of us (so any client will be satisfied). Angola is one of the most colourful and undiscovered countries in Africa, also for experienced travelers. I think, we saw just some part of this beauty. The light of the Angola people smiles is still in my memories and keeps me warm. I hug all the team and wish the company good luck in ambitious intentions, special greeting to Alex and Felisio.

We had a very great experience with Pure and Authentic Tourism. We traveled with them for a week around the country, we discovered very great places : Kalandula falls, Sassa cave, Kissama national park, ...

The team had been fantastic with us, being very good hosts, beyond what we expected : providing lots of information about the different sites, adapting the trip to our needs, having water and snacks in the car,... Perfect! And they speak both English and French which was a big plus ! Joao, the owner, even made it for us to stay a extra day in Cabo ledo before our flight back, to relax at the beach.

Great company and professional service . I went to Calandula falls and Piedras Negras with them and the trip was amazing. The guide and the driver were very nice and did the great job , the 4x4 car was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the trip. Totally recommended .

Angola Puré & Authentic Tourism organized a great trip for me to Angola. I particularly liked the Namib Desert in the South…a very unique place. The entire trip was very well organized. I particularly liked my guide Felicio. Highly recommend.

I was in Luanda for work and decided at the last minute to extend my stay for a week... I contacted Joao , the owner of Pure and Authentic Tourism, and in a couple of minutes he had a plan for the week set! Both the guides and Joao were very professional, flexible, knowledgeable and ready to answer my numerous questions ( ....). I arrived as a customer, but quickly they make me feel home and like a family member ....In 4 days we visited Kalandula falls ( staying at least a night at the Pusada overlooking the waterfall is a must do) , Pedras Negras, Quinca National park, had a boat ride up the Kwanza river, visited Sassa cave in Sumbe etc....Everything was well organized; food was great, the team flexible... Thanks to them My trip in Angola was simply great ( more than great in fact) , and I wish I had more time to visit more ! I hope to be back one day and will definitely contact Joao then!
So many bad preconceived ideas about Angola are all over the Internet , but the reality is that Angola is a gem and I recommend every one to visit and to contact Joao and his team To really get the most out of it !

We had an exceptional experience exploring Angola with Pure and Authentic Tourism. Joao and his team are superb hosts, helpful and caring. He will work around your requirements and suggest an itinerary that will fit your needs. Be sure to pick up the phone (via WhatsApp) and speak with him when planning, he will address your concerns, and explain anything and everything.
Joao's personality is a huge attribute - he has great social skills, which you can see when he's interacting with strangers (be it villagers or officials) and also with his clients. Simply put - we enjoyed his company.
We received assistance and care before and after our trip. Joao will help if you have any questions with the eVisa process, and he continued to help when our luggage was lost and only found after our departure.
We felt safe with him, he drove very well, and was caring but not overzealous.
Be aware - Angola is expensive. Everything costs a lot, be it a simple hotel room or a meal, only fuel is inexpensive. Within that sphere, Pure and Authentic Tourism's prices are reasonable, but Angola is not a "budget" tourist destination.

My company used Pure and Authentic Tourism in December for the first time. They were absolutely outstanding. Their company supported a 14 person operation for an entire week as we broke off into multiple elements throughout southern Angola. Their ability to maintain flexibility in the face of constant change, support us with translators when we needed it, and even assist us with financial concerns when our US bank stopped working proved to be invaluable part of our trip.

The company is owned and managed by German-Angolan dual citizens who bring every bit of the famous German professionalism to bear. Their drivers showed up early every single day and were extremely professional around our client. Having locals that were able to negotiate military and police checkpoints prevented untold costs in both time and cash bribes. Having them around to assist with the day-to-day life in Angola prove to be critical to our success.

When we were out of cell phone signal or operating at odd hours we were able to trust the P&A head office to maintain flawless communication with our corporate office in United States. The ability to place a request for a flight or hotel reservation and then disappear into the bush for several days at a time was incredible. We’ve conducted the similar mission in South Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa, and the Congo, among others and this is by far the most capable transportation company I’ve ever use in Africa. All the managers speak perfect English, German, and Portuguese and they ensured that someone was always available to support us no matter the time of the day.

I cannot speak more highly of their services. We will use their services for every future mission we have in Angola. It it my hope that they soon expand their form of services to surrounding nations soon!

Joao put forth maximum effort to make sure that we received both value and a quality experience. The country does not have a well-developed tourist infrastructure, but Joao did the utmost to deal with the inevitable hiccups.
