Nice and easy, good quality and tasty, very good service… it should be hot when is serviced… but in general it is good place to eat and have some drinks , specially when live music in background.

On the main ground floor of the Palmeiras Hotel is this restaurant that operates at three separate times of the day - breakfast and lunch are buffets, dinner is a la carte. The breakfast buffet is pretty much a typical spread expected of a hotel buffet that slightly varies each day. The a la carte menu for dinner has international food but sections seem to favour Italian cuisine including pizza and pastas. All food including breakfast unfortunately lacks pork (including no breakfast bacon) as hotel management has opted not to serve any pork in this hotel.

The breakfast buffet offers a range of hot and cold cuisine including local and international cuisine, cooked food to cereals/pastries/cold processed food and fruit, and a live cooking station freshly preparing eggs and omelettes. There are also some juices, coffee pods and tea bags.

The a la carte dinner dishes I tried (pumpkin soup and vegetable risotto) were well made and presented, the soup erring on the under-seasoned and runny rather than a creamy consistency, and the risotto was cheesy and filling.

The service here is friendly and attentive, though can be slow at times (more so dinner) and there can be a few mosquitoes roaming around throughout the day. The overall feel is more of a hotel restaurant.
