Unforgettable experience inside the cave, just under the usual village house. It feels even more incredible when you understand that the only man built it.
I went there by bus, you can download A2B app to know which bus to take and where to get off. I explored the nearby area and people there are pretty friendly.
I didn't call anyone in advice, just went and knocked the door with a signboard. Levon's family is living inside, so somebody will open for sure. His daughter gave me a tour in the cave (it's pretty deep, really), telling the history of its construction and some family stories from those times. After the tour, when we climb up back, grandma (Levon's wife) invite me for a cup of tea with some homemade snacks. She can't speak Russian or English, but still can have a small talk (her daughter can translate, thanks). I like this home feeling, talking with positive people, and having a great tour comemorating Levon's hard work.

Bring a jacket because it's cold down there! Quite far out of the city but it was well worth the gg taxi fare! The family are sooo hospitable and even though they didn't speak a lot of English we understood everything! It was a really wonderful stop on our trip! Complete hidden gem

Divine experience indeed. It was 10 degrees Celsius down there, but it was ok since you could see everything and walk around fairly quickly. The ticket was 1500 dram, and the host family was great. I definitely recommend stopping by.

This is a truly unique, somewhat mystical place with an amazing history. Get something warm with you if you are going to spend some time here exploring the underground, because the temperature here doesn't change and is always around 10 degrees Celsius. Your phone coverage won't work here, 21 meters deep in the earth, so make sure your loved ones are aware of you being unreachable for a while. Be prepared to spend an hour at this magical place if you're not in a hurry. Enjoy your visit!

Really an unforgettable experience inside the cave, I have never seen anything similar elswhere. And the cave is built by only one man. Usually no prior appoitment is needed, you can just show up and see the place or there might be some 5 min wait until the previous group has finished their tour. In case you are driving your own car, there is no dedicated parking and uou need to park spmwhere on the narrow street. Levon's family is living in the house that are just above the man made cave.

Nice and beautiful place, a great illustration how one man can create something very noticeable when doing it for fun and consistently for a long period of time

A unique expense.
Nothing like you will ever see.
Worth taking a taxi to that small village on the outskirt of Yerevan.
The grandson (spoke a little english) showed us around these steps and rooms under their property which took grandad 25 years to chisel by hand into the rock. His wife request for a potatoes cellar had turned into a 25 years creative obsession . Telling more wod be spoiling it.....

It's hard to believe one person did this.

A fantastic and unbelievable experience. The taxi driver who took us there had not seen it himself, despite the fact that he mentioned everyone who had asked to go there was impressed. I bought a ticket for the driver as well. We were amazed on amount of work it had taken through the years to build the underground tunnel. Definitely worth it, TIP: ask the driver to wait for you since you may have problems getting back.
