Guest House Emanueli

Very simple guesthouse quite a bit up the trail to Valbonë. The hosts are super nice and food was delicious. Felt super welcome. Also the husband can act as a guide on the winter route to Valbonë.

Super cute guesthouse. The food was more than delicious and we felt really welcomed. If you are aware that there’s no hot water and no electricity it’s a beautiful stay.

Camped here for free and ate at the restaurant. Very friendly and great stay - highly recommend!!

Es un lugar increíble para hospedarse. Las vistas son impresionantes y si tu idea es hacer la ruta de Valbone a Theth te ahorras unos 3kms.
Los dueños son muy amables.
Las raciones de comida son muy abundantes, las camas son muy cómodas (con bastante ropa de abrigo) y las instalaciones están muy bien.
Cómo dato importante a tener en cuenta de la zona, resaltaría los cortes de luz, frecuentes y a veces prolongados.

It was good starting trailhead for Jezerca hike. We slept there one night. It is simple house owned by e nice family and acceptable for a countryside. The owner Besnik Shyti(+355682611904) is a Local Guide for all hiking trails around Theth and Valbone Valley. He gave us valuable advise for our scheduled hike to Jezerca.Thank you.

Nos alojamos en este establecimiento correcto, pero la mejor experiencia fue la atención que nos brindó la familia vecina (hostal LINDY) quien se ocupó de darnos de cenar en su cocina calentita.

Lulash y su esposa Drita nos acogieron como a sus hijos....

Las mejores vistas del valle de Valbonë. Ambiente rural, tradicional y tranquilidad absoluta.

L'entorn és bonic, la casa senzilla, l'habitació és molt bàsica: 1 llit doble i 3 individuals. No havien canviat els llençols perquè vàrem trobar uns taps d'orelles d'algun hoste anterior. El wc ok, tot i que no funcionava l'aigua de la dutxa perquè no ens havíen explicat que havíem de tancar una manguera de fora. El llum tampoc funcionava... A l'habitació del costat hi dormia el pare de la família durant un munt d'hores durant el dia (el vàrem despertar). La filla ens va indicar l'habitació i que el sopar i esmorzar eren al seu restaurant a 10 minuts caminant. Però no ens va dir res del pare ni del funcionament de l'aigua, ni llum...
Podria estar millor si les atencions haguessin estat més bones.

Guesthouse to avoid!!
We booked at Emanuelli Guest House for 1 night and we would like to share our horrible experience. We don't usually do that but we want to warn futur visitors especially those who are travelling alone.
We did not sleep during the night because a person introduced himself into the house at night. Hopefully, we had locked up our bedroom and the person could not enter even if that person tried to do so couple of times. Then we heard some very strange noises above us coming from the attic (accessible by stairs and wide open), this person was maybe sleeping there.
We tried to communicate with the person through the door but no response. My wife was very scared by the situation so we decided to stay into our room (no cellphone signal). The night was awful and very stressful, we didnt sleep as it went on all night. In addition, no electricity was working inside our bedroom after a blackout. We felt like horror story during this night and could not advise anybody to spend a night there. At breakfast we shared our experience with Emanuelli in order to warn him and help but as a response, he said that "it is not my problem but yours" and said this can happen at night time. What shocked us is that he didn't seem surprised and never apologised. He also confirmed we were the only guests that night in the house.
We felt insulted as Emanueli didn't seem concerned and would not address this problem for future guests. We tried to get a discount from Emanuelli as we were completely tired and disappointed but he totally declined our proposition.
As a result, we feel obligated to let future guests know about this. We would never recommend this guest house to visitors or walkers. This review would be not necessary if the owner had ackowledge the situation.
We hope that we could help walkers feel secure during vacation or walking around Valbona and Theth which are beautiful areas to discover. Please note that right after that, Emanueli canceled our booking which raises more questions.
