Cafe Baço

Stayed at Guest House Baco & the cafe/terrace is up on top. Unrivalled views of Berat - it was just stunning & I definitely recommend it. If you have difficulties walking, it will be hard to reach as you walk uphill through lovely stone pathways. The room was a good size with another seating area outside the door and a shared fridge. Good WiFi too. We parked down the hill just off the main road. Didn't eat here but got a bottle of beer for 200 lek, which is pretty standard. I think they just had beer or coke.

Dieser Ort auf Berat ist der Himmel! Es ist, als würde man bei Familientreffen essen, wie in alten Zeiten. Herhve ist eine einzigartige Naturgewalt!! Das Essen wird in der eigenen Küche zubereitet und mit der Liebe zubereitet, mit der Ihre Mutter gekocht hat!! Und Klaudio, was für ein toller Gastgeber, ich kann sein Lächeln nicht vergessen, als er uns unten begrüßte!! Dieser Ort hat keinen Preis, los, los, los ...

Llegamos allí de casualidad. La señora nos cocinó ensalada y pasta. No tenía más porque no habíamos reservado, pero el trato, las vistas y la calidad de la misma merecen la pena. Lo recomendamos.

Tourist trap. It offers a nice terrace on the view of Berat and the lady owning it seems nice but as they have no menu the trap came with the bill:3000 leks to share in three a dish of lamb with potatoes, a salad that the owner insisted we took, and 3 beers. Never ever paid one dish that expensive even in Italy. Tourists are not stupid, the lady owning it should be more honest. I will never come this place again, watch out!
