Rooms Merlika

We stayed one night at Rooms Merlika and our host was absolutely lovely and made sure we were well looked after. The views are incredible. The breakfast was delicious, especially sitting at a table in the sun overlooking the mountains.

Amazing views, food and very nice owners. Also a great value for money. I recommend gor a genuine experience of the place!

Hotel is located inside the castle, it’s a well preserved house from ottoman architecture and it feels like you are back in time. The owner is very friendly and ready to help with guidance. We had breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. My favorite was lamb meat and salad. Combined with location, view and service it’s truly an unique experience. I will be back.

The views from the outdoor area are incredible. The owner was extremely helpful and accomodating. I would stay here again without a second thought.

Staying at the Rooms at Merlika Inns is a very pleasant experience! Artur and his family are very gracious and helpful hosts. The complementary breakfasts every day were delicious, I'm a big fan of the pancakes served with jam! The close proximity to Kruja Castle, the Bazaar, town of Kruja and the nearby Sari Saltik shrine make it an ideal locale to explore the area from, not to mention the idyllic views from Merlika Inn. I also enjoyed the variety of dishes they serve, I had a chance to try Tavë Kosi, Beef Qofte, Cheese Qofte, Fresh Grilled Chicken and local beers! You have to visit the Skanderbeg Museum, with it's rich history and collection of artwork/murals. It is also only a 35 minute drive away from Tirana Airport and easy to get to if you follow GPS 👌

I have found such an inspiring place with such lovely hosts that I could stay here for ages.
The host family running Merlika Rooms in Krujë is welcoming, helpful, friendly and discrete. And the food is amazing.
I do feel home here and it turns out to be the perfect place to put the finishing touches to the writing workshops project I am about to launch in Albania.
I do enjoy the gardens with small cosy reading/ eating/relaxing niches spread all over the place and offering the most wonderful views on the mountains and the Adriatic.

If you fancy green and lush countries with an easy-peasy rhythm of life and an incredible past, Albania is definitely your next destination.

Very good experience! Traditional house but with modern facilities. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms. On the top of the city and inside the castle. While enjoying the good food in the big garden restaurant, we also have panoramic views and breathe fresh air. Good hospitality too!

Awesome location, beautiful views, the host is very kind and the dinner& breakfast was amazing. I would say the bathroom and the decoration needs some renovation but the kindness of the host and the place really worth it! 🌺💕💕💕🙏🏻

Such a beautiful view from rooms. Big, fresh and delicious dishes. Place has its' atmosphere and amazing garden. Staff is really friendly, always smiling, prices for rooms are not expensive, I recommend this place to stay

I was amazed by this place in Kruja! The hosts are very friendly, helpfull and you can feel their hospitality all the time! Everyone is welcome and the family makes everything for you to enjoy your staying there. I had all my mealtime in the same restaurang that belongs to Merlika family with a spectacular view and delicious dishes. The localization is in the actual castle very near to museum and local bazzar.I had an amazing time, realy! I will recommend Rooms Merlika to everyone.
