Taverna Panorama

We visited the Panorama Taverna 3 times during our weeks stay in Ipsos in May 2022. The first night we happened across the restaurant after we had eaten elsewhere and were walking around exploring the area. So we only ordered coffees and shared a dessert. The views are magnificent! The dessert was so good and the owners were so nice.

We booked to return the next evening and due to it being pre - season we ordered fresh fish ahead of time. Our food the next night was total perfection! The fish was so fresh and grilled beautifully. The side dishes were also cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also had the house white wine which was so good!

We returned again before we left and this time my boyfriend had the mixed grill which was also cooked to perfection.

We highly recommend this restaurant!

We were in search of a restaurant that offers a taste of the greek taste of life. I tell you, this is not an easy task and - let's be honest - a task that is too often fulfilled by chance. That is also how we found this restaurant. Sitting next to a random street we passed on our way down to Dassia, we were stunned by the views this restaurant offers - either on the inside or the outside: Albania, the foot of Pantokrator or Corfu City lights.

We decided to return a bit later and eat here. We were greeted by the owner who gave us a caraffe of the - i must say the best white - wine of the house ... on the house. A wine, made purely of grapes from the owner and by hand. It tastes a little like mead. For those who don't like white wine, there is rosé and black whine, too. The food is freshly made on a grill you can see when sitting on the front porch. We ate a greek salad (the Feta!!!), the recommended pork chop and a Sofrito. Everything tasted very good.

But it is not only the food. It is also the ambience, the music, the love put into the food, an owner who shares a word with you. A daily weather ballon, starting at the brink of the night, rising above a darkening sea. A place where you could sit forever. A true greek experience.

Stunning location, fresh food cooked to order. Superb, would highly recommend.

You have to take the white housewine, it's very good! We were the only couple, the owner is very friendly. You have to visit this restaurant with its beautiful vieuw when you're in Kato Korakiana and the price is really good👌

Lovely find, we were staying at Ziogas apartment & found the walk ok not too far down the road from joys cafe in the village. The views from the restaurant are spectacular! the charming owners have been here for 50 years. They made our dinner very special with Greek music, home made wine and good home cooked food, my husband had a chop which. Was cooked on the hot coals in the restaurant. My moussaka was delicious & home made baklava the best I ever had! Well worth a visit for a lovely authentic, romantic dinner with views to die for & at under €40 for everything including lager and an ouzo great value for money too. We went back on our last evening and again was left feeling full and happy.

We had dinner at this traditional restaurant several times this week and had very good souvlaki, moussaka and excellent fish. The owner and staff is very nice and we can recommend the house (white) wine. Because of the preseason we had to pre-order the fish the day before so it can be served fresh, which was totally worth it. We would come here again any time for the grilled food, the great view and the nice place.

Absolutely superb! We stayed five nights in Kato Korakiana, close to Dassia and this was by far the best meal we had

All the food is fresh and home cooked so that means that not everything is available or dishes available may run out if the restaurant is busy. That did not bother us one bit but seemed to upset a group near us.

One small thing is that if you want fish, you have to order it the day before.

I believe the couple running the restaurant have been here for a very long time and they certainly produce very high quality food. Without wanting to be disrespectful, it is simple food cooked superbly. I had the meatballs for starters, followed by the stifado. The beef just melted in my mouth and was delicious.

And it may be the first time ever I have had to help the owner use the card payment machine to pay for my meal but to me, that all adds to the ambience of the restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend the restauraurant

If I could give it six out of five, I would!

Tasty meals, wonderful view over the sea to the Corfu town and Albania and calming atmosfere of the olive trees surrounding the restaurant!

Was there last night and utterly enjoyed it. The views, the food, the homemade wine, and the owners made it all to be an unforgettable evening.

If you want to experience really great Greek atmosphere with beautiful view, this is the best place where to go. We've got a tasty original Greek dishes and home wine.

We had the whole place almost for ourselves. Dimitris brought us some traditional meals from corfu, homemade moussaka and stifado. Wonderful view by night and the food was authentic and good! We would come back anytime!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Nothing is too much trouble food is excellent

Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante!! Luogo molto accogliente con musica locale e una bellissima vista🥰. Noi abbiamo mangiato una grigliata mista e due souvlaki, accompagnati da patatine fritte, riso e funghetti, consigliati dal signore del posto, tra l'altro simpaticissimo e che parlava anche italiano. Tutto buonissimo e abbondante.
Ci ritornerei molto volentieri!!😊

Ich weiß zwar nicht was andere zu negativen Beurteilungen bewegt, aber ich möchte hier eine positive Bewertung für das Restaurant Panorama abgeben die von Herzen kommt. Klasse Essen , frisch zubereitet auf dem Holzkohlengrill super selbst gemachter Hauswein rot und weiß und ein sehr netter Besitzer der mit seinen Mitareiterinnen alles gibt zum besten des Gastes.. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder denn so ein Restaurant mit einer solch tollen Aussicht findet man wohl fast nirgends mehr hier auf Korfu.

Wir waren gestern dort essen, hatten eine wunderbare Aussicht ,sehr leckeres Essen und köstlichen Hauswein. Der Besitzer war super freundlich . Das Baklava war der krönende Abschluss und wirklich das Beste was wir jemals gegessen haben. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Het traditioneel Grieks eten was heerlijk en het uitzicht was prachtig. De eigenaren waren bovendien zeer vriendelijk. Dit restaurant is zeker een aanrader om te bezoeken.

Vue panoramique sur la mer ionienne.
Accueil sympathique. Très bonne cuisine avec des spécialités locales cuites sur la braise. Nous avons dégusté des dorades et des côtelettes d'agneau excellentes.
Pour le poisson, il faut le commander la veille.

Très bon restaurant authentique avec des plats très bien cuisinés, possibilité d avoir du poisson frais sur commande, viande fraîche grillé à la perfection.
Les propriétaires sont accueillants et passionnés par leur cuisine.
Nous logions à la villa anna castello à 2 minutes à pied, nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois.
Nous recommandons vivement.
